China could convince the world that America is keeping the war going for it's own dishonest interests, and not in the interest of the Ukraine in any way.
Is that been China's motive all along?

The peace plan presented by China called for the resumption of talks between Moscow and Kiev. It also condemned unilateral sanctions, and urged the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all nations to be upheld.

Communists!

Peace I guess is Communism.

“Moscow had previously welcomed the Chinese peace initiative for Ukraine, and during this week’s talks Putin expressed his readiness to discuss and build upon it. He also reiterated that Moscow is willing to seek a diplomatic solution to the conflict.

All Putin has to do is withdraw to previous borders and agree to respect Ukrainian sovereignty

Pack up and go home and it is over

This is a topic about China's motive of convincing the world that America stands in the way of peace for Ukraine.

China can at least rely on its track record of using peaceful means to achieve their goals. That may start to resonate on European countries who see big trouble with America's attempts to escalate lthe war against Russia.

We all must remain cognizant of the two opposing combatants are nuclear powers.

"Unilateral sanctions"

🤣

Clearly the Chinese leadership is used to talking to people who have to pretend to believe them, or else.

The thing is, Putin (Russia) is prepared to do just that. However, Russia's progress makes it conditional on several factors that have changes since the beginning of the war.

We do.

It is resonating. Understandably so. No country wants to be the next we destroy.

Less clearly its America that has been making demands on the world's small countries, in which their refusal to comply has resulted in another and another war.

Now there is another force about to ally against US led wars and it's combined weight is formidable.

Lets see Putin offer unilateral withdrawal and the peace talks can start

This is just China trying to create yet another state that is completely reliant upon China.
China is offering all those other small states a choice, but that's not directly to the topic.

Remember, China is offering another choice other than America's choice of war.

And it's a war that can't be either lost or won by either side.

The Ukraine's bargaining position isn't anywhere near what it was when Putin offered a peaceful solution in April 22.

But only peace talks will cause Russia to state their conditions for peace.

It appears that the Crimea is settled as a part of Russia, but the Donbass region need not be, at least so far. That part of the defunct Ukraine can become a neutral on condition that ethnic differences between Nazi factions and Russians can be negotiated.

America has yet to accept that we're moving away from a unipolar world, and may never accept it.

It's going to happen regardless of whether or not America becomes a player.

Within the last week, Russia and China have made it obvious that they are now one united power that have to be recognized and dealt with peaceably.

Which is obviously why they are building up their military capacity.
Yes. For quite some time now the world is evolving into only two significant forces wielding military power, while the rest of the world's countries are becoming protectorates under those powers.

It appears to be that lately the Brics side is about to eclipse US power and the MAD factor has made it nearly impossible for America to maintain control.

America's proxy war in the Ukraine appears to be the only possible solution.

China is taking up the fight to show the world the truth on why the Ukraine is close to no longer existing as a country.

Maybe Russia considers this a reasonable deal:

"If we are destined to be the gas station of other countries, at least, let's be the gas station of a country that respects us as a nation. A country that doesn't create and expand military alliances to surround our borders... A country that doesn't have any russian minorities to be in a perpetual state of war with."

Same as it ever was. Peace through war!

We're playing king of the mountain. The Allies have been on top but the rest have been trying to knock us off.

China has yet to say they urge Russia to get the hell out
China has a twelve point proposal that includes Russia leaving the Ukraine, but it is conditional.
America won't even acknowledge that China's plan exists.

Does that make it suspiciously likely that it's America's war and not the Ukraine's war?

Do you really imagine that either of the two great world powers will agree to lose while sitting on their nuclear arsenals?

You need to think of it as America's final fight to maintain world supremacy. Quitting the war for America is accepting a multi-power world.

Thank you for your participation. This topic has provent be worthwhile at least in demonstrating that Americans of of varying opinions.
