Imagine the USA being forced, for the sake of humanity, to step in militarily in a global, maybe WMD effort.

He had them in 1988. When Ronald Reagan thought he was our bestest pal and denied he had gassed the Kurds.

In 1991, the ones that weren't destroyed in the war, were quickly destroyed by UN inspectors.

Also- key point. He had chemical weapons, the cutting edge weapon of 1914.

No Americans were going to war over a few cannisters of expired mustard gas.
