I'm actually all in favor of making Israel a 51state...Heck, it might be cheaper in the long run....
But, of course, the bulk of that yearly $3Billion we give to Israel comes right back to US armament manufacturers....so, in a sense, US taxpayers are "buying" armaments to benefit manufacturers AND keep Palestinians on the reservation.

-Jordan further gave up claim to the West bank when it signed an agreement with Israel regarding their respective borders in 1991.
