Tyre Nichols body cam footage

Yo
If the black attacked the other guy ……absolutely
You say that now when you’re cornered

But as a typical lib I dont think you can remain rational in every incident

I can't tell what is happening in the scrum at the end of the cuffing phase...but at the beginning of the video Nichols has ample opportunity to comply.
He was complying. The officers didn’t care. They just kept beating him.

If you can watch that video and still say that Nichole was resisting from the start, I don’t know you watched.

The officer’s conduct from the vey second they came in physical contact with Nichols is indefensible. I’m saying this as a trained former deputy sheriff. The fact that I’m a former deputy sheriff might impact my view as their conduct pisses me off. Cops like that put every other officer at a greater risk.

You asked and I told you. As a fan of the show COPS I've seen officers all across the country use mace, and the suspect not putting their hands to their face. I also seen them take bottled water from the trunk of their car to wash the stuff out unless an ambulance showed up on the scene and the medics did it.

What he did was continue to fight police and you're trying to make excuses for it. In my former career I used to get stopped all the time by police. Not once did any officer drag me out of my truck yet alone maced. Why is that? Because I just did everything he asked of me.
Me too. I even took their humiliating statements in stride knowing that they a were trying to provoke me.

What change would you like to see? Again, if the suspect is resisting arrest and not obeying the commands of the officer, they only have two choices: force his compliance or simply let him go.
There are more than two choices, there were five officers and one person. They could have subdued him and not beaten to death. Five to one, continuing to pile on and kick and punch is overkill.

If you watch the video it's apparent the officers couldn't get his hands behind his back. So what were they supposed to do?

Enjoy your fantasies. Now find me on this board ever doing that

Ya Lying shit

Like any other group of people, you're going to get your assholes from time to time. But overall, not only did the police treat me with the utmost respect, they thanked me for my cooperation. I'm sure they run across a lot of truck drivers like this guy that gives them a hard time they don't need. They're just trying to do their job.

So you kill him? Yeah, that is the only way. The cops are not there to escalate, they are to remain calm, not continually beating and kicking him. It was overkill and I am sure a jury will see it the same.

If you had been pulled from your car and treated like this
Why would any sensible person be pulled from a car?

If the cop tells me to get out of the car I obey

And without calling him a &$!/$&@!!!

But maybe I just prefer not getting beat up as more than tough guy black guys do

Ray...your record is intact. You're on the wrong side of every issue

Okay, post the video again and show me where officers were successful in getting him to comply to the point they could put the cuffs on him. Time stamp too please.

Again, I've said repeatedly that kicking was out of the question and the officer that did it should be charged. Don't lie to try and make a point. These officers had no intention on killing anybody. That doesn't fly.

I see Nichols pulling away his right hand so he cannot be cuffed throughout the beginning of the video.

He has already not pulled over immediately.

Being a deputy sheriff in Snowdrift County North Dakota, while admirable, is not the same as being an officer in Memphis Tennessee.

I'm not saying these officer are not poorly trained and are not of the proper temperament to protect and serve...but whos fault is that if not their own leadership. I believe Memphis got down to like 1600 officer...now they are at 2300 all from within Shelby County Tennessee. You have to do what you can with what you have when you're the number one most dangerous city in 2020.

The men of Africa are of what? In that continent how do they treat their own? Are of peace and love or of reality. These men of local law enforcement in a special program that deals with civilians bypassing regulations. Their teachings are of extreme ways of responding to the citizen. No denial to pure questioning of their demands.

Now back to our regularly scheduled debate.

If you can't answer the question... Just say so.

Here it is again. Just answer it or don't.

I asked you...what else are you going to do?

You've used pepper spray, you've used your taser, you've tried wrestling the suspect into compliance.

You haven't searched him and he isn't cuffed... he's still resisting after all that and for all you know he is a felon in possession of a firearm on his third strike. How are you going to stop him?
If five police officers can’t control a 145 suspect on the ground without first beating him to death, then maybe they have no business in this line of work.
