Two Weeks of Protest in Iran, Where is "Free Palestine?"

Good to know you support terrorism.

Loser
I don't support "good guys" who engage in imperialism; why do you?

Six points to navigate the turmoil in Iran - MR Online

"4. The Islamic Republic faced several important, consecutive challenges:

"The most important came from U.S. imperialism, which not only fully spurred Iraq’s war, but supported initiatives by the former Iranian elites to restore their rule and supported Israeli attempts to undermine the Islamic Republic (including direct attacks on Iran, sabotage operations, and assassinations of key figures from the science professions and military).

"It is the United States and Israel that have been systematically trying to erode Iran’s power in the region, with the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani in 2020, the harsh attack on Hezbollah during the Israeli genocide and the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in 2024, and the overthrow of the government in Syria in December 2024 with the installation of the former al-Qaeda chief as President in Damascus."

The Mullahs appreciate yours.
"America’s bloody interference in Iran has a long history, which includes the overthrow of the democratically elected, secular Mossadegh government in 1953 in order to control Iranian oil; supporting the puppet shah’s repressive security apparatus against the Iranian people; arming the dictator Saddam Hussein in a war with Iran resulting in a million dead; and, more recently, arming Israel in its indiscriminate attacks that killed scores of Iranian civilians."

I know!

So sad.

Are you going to cry if the mullahs finally hang?

I wouldn't cry, but I would be concerned.

Like it or not, they are providing STABILITY to the country.

An Iran that broke apart on Ethnic Lines would not be good for stability in the region.

Particularly if you see where the oil is located.

By whose measure.

By all reports, the demonstrations have died down, probably because the Iranians have realized they fear chaos more than they hate the Mullahs.

The stability to support terrorists around the world is bad stability.
The stability to spend the people's money on nuclear weapons that they will use, is bad stability.

First the first time in 47 years, Iran is on the verge of toppling an oppressive regime that has crippled people's civil liberties and economy. Despite what may be a historic event of liberation, there has not been a peep from the "Free Palestine" crowd. There have no protests in support on the streets. Nobody blocking the streets waving Iranian flags. Nobody organizing sit-ins and demonstrations on university campuses, nothing from Greta.

The answer to this is, of course, obvious. The Free Palestine movement was never about Palestinians. It was never about liberation or freedom. It was always about hating the Jews.
Israel isn't nearly as 'free' as it could be. Which I attribute to being in a constant state of self defense from rabid goat-fuckers.

But it's still the most free country in that region. By a lot. By really a lot. Really, REALLY a lot.

dimocrap scum believe in Totalitarianism. Don't know why, don't care. Do you really care about why rattlesnakes bite? All I need to know is, they just do.

I’m glad to see you finally realize this.

The next step would be to realize that the virulent anti-Israel protests, which started immediately after October 7 and before Israel had even responded, was ALSO about hating the Jews.

The giveaway, as you recognize with the “Free Palestine” movement, is the double standards - one of the “three D’s of antisemitism as outlined by Sharansky. Where, for example, are the massive marches against the Iranian Terror Regime, the way there was against Israel?

The entire hate-fest against Israel - with remarks about “evil Jews” and “satanic Jews” and “Jewish terrorists - was ALWAYS about hating Jews, and spreading antisemitism.

The people of Iran have a golden opportunity, the world needs to unite and back them
The problem is that when Trump steps in to actively assist the Iranian people against their terrorist government, the leftists will take the Terror Regime’s side just to keep Trump from looking good.

Israel itself is pretty much a police state.
There are IDF EVERYWHERE constantly.

As such there is not much violent crime there at all. There is petty crime constantly. Mostly from the taxi drivers. Among my international travels they are the absolute worst I've ever experienced. I highly recommend ONLY getting in one that someone has called for you. Flagging a cab is the best way to get robbed.

We needed some Pepto Bismal from a pharmacy. And the bribes it took to get the controlled substance was insane. (Yeah, it's a controlled substance in Israel)

Never miss an opportunity to ***** about the Jew country, eh?

So tell me, are things better in Syria, or Jordan, or Somalia, or Yemen? What bout Libya or Iraq? I notice you didn’t complain about bribes and taxis with them.

Th free Palestine movement was really a pro-Hamas movement

That’s why you don’t see them supporting Iranians over the tyrannical leftist govt of Iran that helps fund Hamas

Those places are NOT safe enough to visit obviously. (Assuming that is the point you were trying to make)
Obviously there's a valid REASON why they are this way.
And I'm not Anti-Semitic. Far from it. (Why would I be doing tourist stuff in Israel if I'm Anti-Semitic)

But I'll still call out things that annoyed me While there.
Most of the annoyances came from the older people. The young people were great.
We rode a Sharoot with a bunch of IDF. They gave up seats so my wife and I could sit together when we got on last. They were kind, polite, and great to be around.
Then when arriving at our bus stop the taxi to the hotel charged more than the entire bus ride....I thought about going to the police....(everywhere) but I was exhausted....
