The borders are not open.. and we still have US Customs and Immigration at all ports of entry.

Our border patrol are now baby sitters for all the illegal kids this administration allowed to enter. Instead of doing their job of patrol, they're changing diapers.

These are unaccompanied minors.. We didn't take them from their parents. What would YOU do with them assuming you are a human being?

My initial reaction is to package them up to feed hungry zoo animals around the world. A compromise is to return the children to their home countries in the care of church and social service agencies to find families. Finding parents can be suborned to finding extended family. Failing that there might be foster programs or orphanages.

Yup, so they caught 2 terrorists, makes you wonder how many got in that didn't get caught. It's not like we an ever guarantee that NO terrorists can ever get in that's ridiculous. But what we can do is try to make it as difficult as possible, and IMO that include finishing the wall and changing our policies. Catch and Release doesn't sound like a winner to me. Neither does amnesty.

The only real solution to our border problem is never allow Democrats to have leadership in our federal government again. Look what kind of mess we have in less than three months.

We do more for outsiders than any industrialized country in the world. There are estimates as high as 30 million illegals in this country, and they all can't be working illegally. They come here for a variety of reasons, not just getting jobs.

In our system of law, they have to prove that the employer knew he or she was hiring illegals in the first place. With all the fake documentation around, it's almost impossible to do. But..... if we stopped them from coming here in the first place, an employer can't hire people who are not here.

Bring Trump back, and the wall continues to be built, Stay In Mexico policy is enacted again, Catch and release is the way of the land, and we get this problem under control.

Correct. We could solve the problem but we don't elect representatives with the balls to do it. Trump is the closest one, and he has many limitations.

Ray from Cleveland's Law: Anybody caught here illegally will be sentenced to a minimum of 5 years in federal prison for the first offense. An additional five years for every repeat offense. Take note of the word "minimum" meaning the judge could sentence you to more.

Illegals living in the US have until June 15th to leave the country. After that if you are caught, you are subject to our new penalties.

You wouldn't need any wall, much less border security, and nobody would want to be caught dead living in the US illegally.
