On the one hand Trump is some kind of diabolical evil maestro of the all the benighted rubs in the country, but on the other he is a clueless moron. I marvel at all the fairytales the prog minions invent about Trump.The main supporters and enablers are the cultists. Trump is not a smart or skillful man.
What has happened here is that the cult has created an avatar. That avatar is the orange pile. They have created this avatar as the champion for their frustrations and anger and have given it power over themselves. Much like inventing a God.
Trump came along and was willing to do and say the most ignorant, classless, unethical stuff. And the fact that this annoyed the entire world -- but he got away with it anyway -- was like Moses seeing a vision of God, to these people.
So they nurtured and fed their avatar and now live in a symbiotic existence with a character that is really of their own creation. They need Trump every bit as much as a 4 year old needs his woobie. He is their security blanket. The embodiment of all of their anger and frustration and ignorance and stupidity, existing for the reason of sticking a thumb in the eye of people the angry cultists can't reach.

The bottom line is that you morons just can't get over the fact that half the country hates your shit and would vote for whomever promises to end it and doesn't appear to be lying about it. It must really suck to be more hated than Trump.
