Turns out, cows are carbon negative—they produce more oxygen than the methane and carbon they emit.

But what about the grass all those cows will eat?

Oh won't anyone think about the grass!?

The grass grows tall and green around those cowpies.

More 'climate change' lies debunked by actual science.

More cows equal more beef equals lower prices. A win-win situation!

Um, animals, people included, use oxygen. They don't produce or "give off" the gas.

So we have here a conservative "scientist" who doesn't understand one of the most basic tenets of biology.

Oh wow. This was one of the cash cows (pun intended) of the whole AGW/Climate change mostly manufactured and scientifically unsupportable agenda. They'll have to scramble quickly to make up some new erroneous facts to offset this terrible (for them) news.

Bill Gates and his fake meat, and now fake butter.

He probably should have said that cows help to produce oxygen by increasing vegetative growth by increasing soil fertility through their manure. That said there's certainly no shortage of oxygen.

Yes. Cows are animals, not plants. So essentially they utilize more oxygen than they exhale and they exhale more CO2 than they do oxygen.

But good research that shows that cows are no more and no less contributors of CO2 than any other animals would go a long way to restoring sanity to the whole climate change debate.

Animals, in reasonable numbers, are limited in what they do to the environment. Man not so much.

And yet humankind is the ONLY animal that cares what happens to their own or other species, that takes any measures to correct what is wrong and rescue other species, that cares about the environment or has ability to improve/protect it.

I haven't found the actual study yet, but the articles about the study indicate it's saying that the grazing fields for cattle absorb as much or more greenhouse gas than the cattle create. It's supposed to be important how the grazing is done, but again, I haven't seen the study yet, only articles about it.

We should start doing that.

This should help.
