Turns out, cows are carbon negative—they produce more oxygen than the methane and carbon they emit.

More 'climate change' lies debunked by actual science.

More cows equal more beef equals lower prices. A win-win situation!

great, so instead of libs telling I need to go vegan so we can stop breeding cows, now they will tell me i need to go vegan because we need to save the cows because they are good for the environment...

Too many cows are bad for the environment, and we have waaaay too many cows.

He probably should have said that cows help to produce oxygen by increasing vegetative growth by increasing soil fertility through their manure. That said there's certainly no shortage of oxygen.
Some extra grass ain't really gonna help much.

You have to grow a lot of grass to feed them. They cause higher oxygen levels in the Midwest.

Yes. Cows are animals, not plants. So essentially they utilize more oxygen than they exhale and they exhale more CO2 than they do oxygen.

But good research that shows that cows are no more and no less contributors of CO2 than any other animals would go a long way to restoring sanity to the whole climate change debate.
The issue appears to be with feed lots.

So yes beef cattle are heavily concentrated in feed lots. But I'm pretty sure that doesn't increase the emissions per animal. (Having grown up in country that had those feed lots though, they are definitely smelly.)

It's our cynical revenge. If we have to live in feed lots the cows can as well.
