For weeks now Trump has been saying that thousands of Americans died because the Chinese government covered up the danger this virus posed to the rest of the world. Now Trump is lying to the American people, discouraging testing, and doing nothing to help establish a national testing network. He is ignoring scientific advice about re-opening and workplace changes to keep the virus from surging, in a rush to re-open the country.

How are lies like "It's just going to disappear", and suppressing CDC guidelines for making working places safer for returning working, are no different than Chairman Xi downplaying the virus to the rest of the world in the hopes it wouldn't get out of China.

These lies have already costs thousands of lives around the world, but Trump, having learned nothing from the Chinese at all, is repeating the sames kinds of lies that allowed the outbreak to balloon into a world wide panemic.
