In a Republic, actually
“There’s an effort now to spin words to present this trip as something less than an utter catastrophe for U.S. interests in Europe. National-Security Adviser H.R. McMaster has insisted that President Trump did indeed affirm Article 5. Compare Trump’s words to those of his predecessors, and you can see for yourself how untrue that is. The Republican chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Corker, went on record to declare that he could not have been more pleased with the trip. If true, that would reflect poorly on Senator Corker’s judgment. I prefer to think that the statement reflects poorly on his candor.

Here’s what’s really true: Donald Trump is doing damage to the deepest and most broadly agreed foreign-policy interests of the United States. He is doing so while people associated with his campaign are under suspicion of colluding with Vladimir Putin’s spy agencies to bring him to office. The situation is both ugly and dangerous. If it’s to be corrected, all Americans—eminent Republicans like Bob Corker above all—must at least correctly name it for what it is.”

And all Americans must acknowledge the fact that Trump is indeed unfit to be president – for this and scores of other reasons – and remove him from office come 2020.

You know, the only time that article 5 was invoked by NATO was after the US was attacked on 9/11. Saying that we need to get out of it is kinda stupid.

And..............if you were to watch FOX news, you would hear about how much of a success his foreign trip was. FOX news is only focusing on the Middle East part of his trip and they totally skipped over the parts where he was in Europe.

MSNBC and CNN have been talking about the whole trip, not just the parts that Trump is crowing about being successful.

All Americans must. MUST you say.

Blow it out of your ass. You're constipated.

Try running a candidate who isn't on Goldman/CitiBanks payroll next time

Yeah, because Trump is so much better. He didn't get paid off by Goldman Sachs, he hired 5 of their CEO's to run the economy! And those are some of the idiots that helped cause the economic meltdown of 2008.

I wonder what kind of kickbacks Goldman Sachs is gonna get since they have 5 CEO's in Trump's cabinet?

You don't say? Establishment media is bashing a non- establ Prez? :eusa_think: Quelle surprise,,,,,,,,,,NOT

Reading comprehension would help you out a great deal if you ever learned it. I didn't say they were bashing him, I said that CNN and MSNBC were talking about the whole trip, both the good and bad points, while FOX news is only covering the part about the Middle East that Trump had his people have been trying to say was a success.

If there is any parsing of the news going on, it's from FOX.

The main success of the ME portion of the trip was that he had his fragile ego and narcissism stroked bigly.
Riyadh and Jerusalem will now be on his never-ending self-congratulatory and ego-recharge tour.

No it was a catastrophe for globalists, 0bama apologists, America-haters, and left wing nut jobs like you.

For America, it was pretty good. Certainly the best in the past 10-12 years.

So your bought-and-paid-for candidate was less worse in your opinion? What a ringing endorsement :happy-1:

hiLIARy is as bought-off as the worst of them. Goldman speech transcripts anyone?

Hey, so what if she got paid for speeches? Trump is the one that put no less than FIVE GOLDMAN SACH'S CEO's in his cabinet, and he expects them to run the economy. Trump is the one that put them in the government.

At least he isn't hiding his affiliations like hiLIARy was/is. He's involved in high finance in NYC for a long time. No surprise there

Keeping that swamp topped up.

You guys were bitching that Hillary had close ties to Goldman Sachs because she got paid for giving a speech or two, and you conservatives were saying that she was going to sell out this country to Wall St.

Well...............guess what.................apparently Trump thought she had a good idea because he actually DID sell out this country to Wall St. by putting 5 Goldman Sachs CEO's in his cabinet to run finance.

You were bitching about Hillary selling out, but Trump actually did it.

Still think that a wall is gonna get built and Mexico is going to pay for it? That's another pipe dream that Trump sold you.

Tell me something. If NATO is so damned important why don't those 23 nations pay their share? Answer Trump's question. Is NATO fair to the American taxpayer?

Our beloved Pres. Trump did a magnificent job dealing with the European leaders.

He quickly let them know there was a new sheriff in town.

And gave notice the USA was back in the top leadership position. ...

The trip was a triumph, according to some....
Check out the look on his face, when he's barged to the front!
