So now you are saying to fear the ghosts in the night as they are likely angry Trump supporters retaliating for the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

Soon you will be saying we should round up all conservative and put them in re-education camps.

What?

Hence, we get Bill Clinton scoring a ton of points for Obama at the Democratic Convention in 2008.

I'll paraphrase. 'Republicans are the type of American who has achieved some comfort. And then says to the rest of America.....I got mine, so screw you, you loser.'

Now, I cannot say if that is the real world reality. But there is some resonance there. No?

No, that is not reality, Republicans give more to charities than Democrats, regardless of income level. Republicans are opposed to the government playing Robin Hood. Rewarding people for not working by taking from people that are is a recipe for disaster. No matter how they spin it, that is EXACTLY what Democratic policies do.

I think the impeachments were for show.

Not because Trump didn't do anything wrong, but because the jury was rigged. The Democrats KNEW they'd never get him out of office, not matter what he had done.

All the Democrats were going to vote to impeach no matter what. Most Republicans were not going to vote to impeach no matter what. The thing is, based on the evidence, it is the Democrats that were patently wrong. There was no basis for impeachment, in either case.

"wrong" in terms of impeachment is subjective, because impeachment is such a vague things. It's going to get worse and worse, it's a political tool and will be used whenever they can from now on.

But the problem is, this "we'll do anything to win" mentality has been going for a long time now. Clinton's impeachment, getting the Supreme Court to say political funding is "freedom of speech" protected by the Constitution, the battle over the Supreme Court, especially not letting Obama have a SC pick.....

It's not just the Democrats, it's both sides, and they're destroying it all. And the people are cheering them on.

What is it with you arrogant, POOR, jerk Democrats? You do realize that us Republicans, “bunch of hicks”, are the ones that pay for the majority of your pie in the sky programs. We make more money than you on average but your arrogant indoctrination forces you to believe that you are smarter, regardless.
You came here to show us how seriously uninformed you are? The blue states have been feeding red trailer trash for nearly a hundred years. Of the twenty worst states, 16 are Republican dominated.

I swear you idiots continue to post the same crap over an over again. There are many poor people in Southern states. The overwhelming majority of them vote for Democrats. What don't you understand about that? Across the country, as income rises, so does the likelihood of voting for a Republican.

If red and blue states shipped the poor out, they would be left with many more Republicans than Democrats.

Not true. Paying dues to your social club -- your church -- is not charitable giving.

Meanwhile, back in reality, the Democrats carefully presented a case based on hard evidence. The corrupt partisan hack Repubilcans didn't even attempt a defense. They admitted Trump was guilty, and didn't care.

Remember, you can't gaslight honest and intelligent people with your fake history. That only works on your fellow corrupt partisan hacks. Democrats run on evidence, you run on feelings.

How much contradiction can we get in one Trump communication?

He said:

"The country is in a very dangerous position."

Yes it is, and mostly it seems to be caused by a guy who'll open his mouth and shout to get what he wants without thinking about the consequences to his actions.

"There is tremendous anger, like I’ve never seen before,"

Well, there's tremendous anger, if he's not see anything like this before, race riots for example, then he's either not been watching closely, or, more likely, everything he says he exaggerates in order to make it sound worse than it actually is.

"over all of the scams, and this new one, years of scams and witch hunts, and now this,”

It's not a "witch hunt" if they ACTUALLY FIND WHAT THEY WERE LOOKING FOR. And they did find what they were looking for.

"The former president told the outlet that he “will do whatever” he can “to help the country”,"

What does he think his actions are doing? He's not helping the country one bit, never did. He helped himself and nobody else.

"Mr Trump said that Americans are “not going to stand for another scam”"

The scam is Trump saying whatever he wants, putting people's lives in danger, putting the country in danger. It's not a "witch hunt" or a "scam" if they actually find what they're looking for.
It's dangerous for him. And he is telling Garland in his usual coded messaging, he is going to call on his mindless drones to attack the FBI. That's why he contacted Garland.

Yeah, this is all very thinly veiled. The threats and online chatter are increasing.

Someone important, maybe multiple people, need to step up and say something. It's not going to be him, and it has to come from MAGA world. Most likely the media, which would otherwise shoot down (no pun intended) anything a Republican says.

Historic times. We're joining the history books. Not in a good way.
He's the one stoking the chatter. He's nothing but trouble. He's doing exactly what he did for January 6th.

You are so delusional you actually typed, in response to Trump's statement that he would "do whatever he can to help the country", that someone needs to step up and say something, but it's "not going to be him".

It is him. It was him. in the post.
You're right, it is him stoking the base. He needs a distraction. He's under at least five serious criminal investigations, and you are too dumb to see what he is doing?
