Trumpy makes a lot of noise during a negotiation, but he usually gets results. He likes to knock people down, but afterward, he picks them up. It's all part of his game. Having worked in NYC all my life, I'm very familiar with his tactics.
It will take years, maybe decades, to fix what Trump has fucked up, just in his first year.

You can see that Trump is taking control of Davos. There are a growing number of converts. Much of his administration showed up to chop, slice and dice the globalists on their home turf. We enabled the rise of China and other nations with trade policies to fore stall our decline for a while as we gave up our tech, auto, steel, heavy industry and others which started before the trade deals and started cracks in our empire hegemony. We ruled the world after WW 2 and rebuilt it and ingested minimal new territories. The last tie to gold ended in 1971 and that changed the post war world order as total social justice took over with no ways to pay for it all as it gathered steam.
