Trump's first 100 days: Expand the Supreme Court

I think when the dow goes down so do his approval ratings. When we hear CEO's are telling Trump shelves will be empty next month if he keeps doing what he's doing.

Trump is a bad businessman and even worse politician.
Where are you getting that he's a bad businessman? I think it's fair to say he's not educated enough on or understands the international trade issues well enough, but he's objectively a better "businessman" than 99% of all other "businessmen" essentially ever. He's worth billions of dollars, which he made through "business".

By lying, cheating and stealing. By shady illegal practices. By being a great con man. Yea, he did talk NY politicians into not charging him taxes. I'll give him that. But ultimately, he's been a failure. He should be Elon rich not only $1 billion.

And it's even questionable if he was worth $1 billion before he became president. He over inflated the value of his properties.

I have an uncle. He made a fortune cheating and stealing. Shady mother ****** his entire life. And certainly didn't pay his taxes. So he's a criminal, like Trump. You consider that being a good businessman?

I'm going to blow your mind

This is a good businessman?

The Trump Organization was found guilty of criminal tax fraud and other related crimes

  • In December 2022, a jury found two Trump Organization companies, Trump Corp. and Trump Payroll Corp., guilty on 17 counts related to a tax fraud scheme.
  • The scheme involved compensating top executives with untaxed perks and benefits (like apartments and cars) to avoid paying taxes.
  • The companies were found guilty of criminal tax fraud, scheme to defraud, conspiracy, and falsifying business records.
  • Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg pleaded guilty to his role in the scheme and testified against the company.
Sentence:
  • In January 2023, the Trump Organization was ordered to pay a $1.6 million fine, the maximum penalty for the charges.
You know who's a good businessman? George Soros amassed his fortune primarily through highly successful investing, particularly in currencies and hedge funds. He established Soros Fund Management, later his family office, and made significant profits by predicting and capitalizing on market shifts, including the 1992 attack on the British pound.

Odd he was doing all this for DECADES and no one seemed to give a shit until he ran for President.

Bottom line.

He's made more money though his businesses than 99% of all other humans in world history, so if he's a terrible businessman then so are 99%+ of all other people in the history of the world. At worst he's in the top 1% of all people in history with regard to making money which is typically the aim of starting a business.

You can have this talking point but it's a stupid one.

What do you mean? We've been complaining about guys like him for decades and all you ever do is defend them

According to an analysis by American for Tax Fairness of new Federal Reserve data on household income and wealth, America’s billionaires and centi-millionaires (those with at least $100 million of wealth) collectively held at least $8.5 trillion of “unrealized capital gains” in 2022. These profits from unsold investments constitute the largest source of income for the super-rich. This staggering accumulation of “quiet” income may never be taxed unless special taxes on the ultra-wealthy now under consideration in Congress are enacted.

The data show that more than one in every six dollars (18%) of the nation’s unrealized gains is held by these roughly 64,000 ultra-wealthy households, who make up less than 0.05% of the population.

I think Trump does a great job at IDing the problem and/or recognizing the issues which is wildly important. You cant solve a problem if you cant identify it. Equally important is the ability to recognize how to solve it properly, which is where Trump has objectively been lacking. There are multiple reasons for that some of which are on him and some arent. There is definitely an effort by the "deep state" to thwart many of the things he's attempting to do. Trump has also done a terrible job of picking many of the people he's put around him. Part of that is the "deep state's" doing I'll admit but he's responsible ultimately. He's done a better job this time than last but he's still made some terrible picks. The other thing that's on him is that he doesn't do the reading. I don't think he's actually interested in the minutia of what it takes to be an effective President. Like it or not you have to work within the system, and circumventing it only works to give those opposed to your policies fodder to change the subject.

DOGE, the deportation issue are prime examples of this.

Tell us about the Progressives successes. Where endless protests are more likely riots and insurrections. With social justice wherever there is an action there seems to be a reaction. So extreme feminism, extreme gay agendas, permanent ghettos, affirmative action, diversity and quotas along with massive social programs create a 50% divorce rate and high percentage of single-family parents. Over the last half century, the proof is there. Positives and negatives.

You've not been complaining about Donald Trump or saying he was a bad business man prior to him running for President you muppet.

They arent profits until you sell the stock. Maybe look up the word "unrealized" in the dictionary. It's not income, it's a bet.

Lets say we go through with this asinine idea. Is the Government going to give these people the taxes back when the stock goes down? So if I buy 1 share of company X at 1000$ and it goes to 10000 dollars, but I don't sell, you want tax me on that "income" are you going to give me the taxes back when it drops to 1000? Are you going to give me tax rebate when it drops to 1 but I dont sell?

Do you understand how wildly stupid that idea is now?
The data show that more than one in every six dollars (18%) of the nation’s unrealized gains is held by these roughly 64,000 ultra-wealthy households, who make up less than 0.05% of the population.

Again "unrealized" has a meaning which you should look up.

That's the kind of bullshit you won on. That and the fact that every incumbent around the globe lost because of inflation.

People are dumb. What can I tell you other than that?

As bad as my guys were, none of them had the low approval ratings Trump has right now. That makes him the worst

Isn't it amusing that an social media poster feels he is qualified to make judgements on a billionaire's business acumen? LOL

Trump is approaching his 100th day in office, a tumultuous period marked by market swings, social media outbursts and a number of constitutional crises.

Trump and his administration are currently publicly defying court orders to bring a man mistakenly sent to a mega-prison in El Salvador home.

Post the "court order" requiring his return to the US please.

Impossible. I'm upper middle class.

One of the smartest presidents we ever had IQ wise was a moron. He believed mole people existed and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars (millions today) digging and looking for this lost civilization.

You nazi's and brainwashed by social media, right wing media, podcasts and celebs crack me up.

YOU consume so much fake news. Didn't you learn anything from the Dominion vs Fox trial?

The key here is compared to whom? Is Trump a "bad businessman" when compared to Sam Walton to JD Rockefeller? Yeah probably. But so is everyone else on the planet. If you compare Trump to every other human being in the history of the planet he's probably top 1%, at worst he's top 5%. If that makes him a "bad businessman" Ok I guess. Given the same inheritance Trump was given and most people would squander it quickly. 99% wouldnt grow it to billions of dollars. 1/3 of lottery winners go bankrupt. Maybe that's due to the fact that the lottery is gambing for people who cant do math but the point stands.

That doest mean you arent dumb. Given your posts here which are incoherent half the time the burden of proof is on you to illustrate that you arent.

Trump made his money through fraud and a game show.

He's a sociopath. It's easy to defraud other people out of their money when you're a sociopath.

Yea chances are you would agree that 99% of those top 1%ers should never be president. We agree. I just agree with one more percent than you.

Trump's father didn't teach him to be a good person. Just a ruthless cheating scumbag businessman. And Trump's good at marketing himself. It took decades. Is he good or just persistent? Well, it worked.

I honestly believe the Apprentice made him President. The people saw him and thought he was a good businessman/decision maker/CEO type. He played the role and boy did they buy it.

You guys think he's smart or knows what he's doing. He doesn't. And for every decision he makes that you like, there are ramifications to those things that he and you haven't thought about.

It took 3 CEO's to go to the White House and smack that ***** up.
