For example, Houston's crime rate has increased by 20% but it is a Red State and the Mayor is white (John Whitmore). Chicago's crime rate has decreased by over 30% but it is a Blue State and its Mayor is Black (Brandon Johnson).

This Trump narrative is not only racist but political. He is using the word "crime" (something that all people relate to and want it to stop) to go after Blue States. He is using lies because he knows that people in general (especially Trump cult members) are not interested in researching facts but in believing the leader they chose.

Fr example, in 2020 criminal offenders made up just over 2 percent of the population. 1.09 percent of the population that were criminal offenders are whites. 0.6 percent of the population who were criminal offenders are black. So then the percent of the popultion who were most of the criminal offenders that year were white, and that has been the general pattern that I have seen from studying these statistics for the past 30 years.

The vast majority of crime happens in white communities. It's time you racists understood this reality.
