"Shortly after it was announced the majority of the convention would be held in the nation's capital, the hotel's room rates were jacked up by nearly 60 percent. The hotel is almost booked out for the week and prices start at $600 for a night and skyrocket to more than $10,000 for the hotel's top suite. The choice of the auditorium has raised some eyebrows - it's around the corner from Trump's DC International Hotel, which has long been a hub for Republicans in town."

It was a smart and brilliant business move to pick the auditorium that is right across the street from your own hotel -- I bet the Democrats wished they had thought of that -- but none of them are brilliant and successful enough to own hotels and golf resorts.

This level of awesomeness transcends the deeds of mortal men . The splendour of this move will be lost on most of the public. Holding a convention next to a hotel. Joined up thinking.

All the higher star hotels raise their prices. Think Trump’s shouldn’t just because? Four aseasons raised theirs by an extra $200 something per night.

Why yes, the Trump Corporation doesn't try at all to profit from The Don's time as president, nope not at all....He's a guy that only cares about America and Americans....

Are you saying it wouldn’t do the same if it was a dem in office with their convention? If so, you really are a fool. Hotel’s make more money during high profile events. Just the way of the business. I get it, you don’t understand business well.

Well, the last Democrat business owner to be elected president, sold his business....because republicans whined about how Jimmy Carter owning a peanut farm would pose a conflict of interest --- republicans have since dispensed with pretending to care about that shit now....

But I guarantee if a Dem did that now, you folks would be whining and screaming corruption and wanting people to go to prison....

He didn’t

He didn’t sell it. He put it in a blind trust, just as Trump has done. Unfortunately, his trustees weren’t so trustworthy, as he had to sell it after he left office because they ran it into the ground.
And no, Rep’s didn’t whine him into it...

Correct.
You don't realize that you are correct.
But you are.

Joe Biden doesn't have any hotels. He's a career politician and a bureaucrat. He's never built anything, created anything, and has always lived at the expense of the taxpayers.

But if Joe Biden did have a hotel, it would resemble one of those crack house motels you see along the side of the highway by the truck stops, in the less reputable parts of town.
