Of course he is negotiating with our "friends" he blew up the economy and is forcing their hand. Thats a great way to blow up friendships as well. If his target was China and their loopholes he could have worked with our friends to leverage China. He didn't do that. He started with Canada of all places and then the rest of the world. Damage done. Now he is in clean up mode so don't get too excited when he starts making deals. All he is doing is cleaning up the colossal mess that he made.

A citizen here can get Section 8 housing, welfare, food stamps, disability for feigned injuries, and fake being "addicted" to alcohol or drugs. Why would they work for $10.00 an hour and then have those bennies taken away from them? This tariff debacle was not smart and not well executed. Same is going for DOGE and the deportations. Mind you I support getting tough with China, and getting more efficient with gov spending and fixing the problems at our border. I'm behind all that in principle but I can't ignore the colossal damage and poor execution thats happening on Trumps part. I don't want my government run by an authoritarian. We are a Democratic Republic, laws and due process matters.

Trump has pissed off our closest allies, violated previous trade agreements, tanked the stock markets, and have placed a huge burden on businesses all over the world as they try and prepare for the impact of these tariffs. My company right now has been scrambling and meeting with vendors about price increases and how to adjust supply chains. Its a clusterfuck... And it wrecks of ignorance and carelessness. Could have easily been avoided without the collateral damage
