Tesla stock has lost half of its value worldwide, and sales of Tesla automobiles are down 70% in Europe, and more than 50% in the USA. Musk has called Peter Navarro a "moron" for the tariff policies, and advocated for free trade with Europe.

Musk joins a long line of those who think they can control Trump. Ask the Republican Party of 2016 how that turned out for them.
