Yes, Bush increased the debt by 3 Trillion, fighting against those organizations that killed in excess of 3000 innocent Americans. Obama increased the national debt by 9 Trillion and achieved what exactly? Putting more people on the welfare programs (obamacare, food stamps, illegal immigrant supplements?)

The government needs to be more responsible fiscally to the American people. As Winston Churchill said, "trying to spend yourself out of a recession is like trying to bail out a sinking boat while standing in the bucket." Neither smart nor effective.

In the 1920, Coolidge fought a far worse recession.... or I should say, he didn't fight it. He cut taxes, and cut spending, and the economy bounced back in months.

FDR fought a recession with more taxes and massive spending, and dragged the entire country into a great depression.

In 2002, Bush was faced with a recession, and cut spending and taxes, and the economy bounced back with growth rates well over 6%.

In 2009, Bush and Obama both, faced a recession, and both raised taxes and spending, and the result was the worst recovery from what was otherwise a minor recession, in 90 years.

To the point... every time we try and free-market capitalist our way out of a recession, it works.

Every time we try the socialist tax and spend our way out, we end up with bad results.
