It wasn't hindsight, does the capitol building not have an armory in it? Why wasnthe NG refused, why were capitol police ordered to not use tear gas?

Therefore, this guy who has a gun, is behind a door and among many others with guns was illogically so petrified that he decided to shoot an unarmed woman. It's akin to a person afraid of dogs simply because he has been told to be afraid of them.

Now, the actions of those in the Capitol were not acceptable, but, to respond as this man did and for the politicians to cover up and hide his identity illustrates something, doesn't it?

Or they had some silly expectation that the President of the United States wouldn't institigate a riot because he lost an election.
