THIS is how you pay Americans a living wage.

Because as long as someone in Asia will work for a rate that makes it more profitable to manufacture products there and to ship them across the ocean, we will continue to outsource jobs to those countries.

Leveling the wage playing field with tariffs might make the widget from Asia more expensive in the short term...but bringing the production of those and thousands of other widgets back to the US keeps more American money in the US.

Why are we, the global engine of the world economy outsourcing billions to build up China???
