Trump To Be Put on Mount Rushmore Under Republican Bill

How long of a trip was it for you?

When did you go?

Just curious.
Depends upon where you’re coming from. I drove through in 1995 coming from DC. Went into Montana and Wyoming as part of a 2-week drive vacation. Went to Rushmore as an afterthought since we were already in the vicinity. Figured ‘why not?’ since we didn’t know when we’d be back that way again. Glad we did.

This would be so cool. It would make it worth it to drive to the middle of nowhere. Come on Republicans in DC, make this happen.

That would certainly piss Democrats off bigly.... I can hear the screams already....

This reminds me of when the Nobel Committee gave Obama a prize for peace, and then he went on to start or contribute to several humanitarian disasters.

Talk like this, should be put on hold till folks actually wait and SEE what the hell happens this presidential term. If it is a resounding success by modern day standards? Sure, then bounce the idea around.

It's just a tad premature to talk and speculate like this right now, IMO.

Too early.

Ask me again in three years.

That alone would make it worth it!

But all you need to do is turn on the confirmation hearings & you'll hear more democrat screaming than you can handle :D

nah leave it alone, trump had nothing to with founding this country or any massive strides, maybe revisit this in 4 years

Just imagine the anguish amongst the Democrats. That would break them.....

I’ll pass on that. I haven’t seen anything in his first for years that would deserve that and I doubt I’ll see a miraculous event from him that would justify that kind of dedication. I still expect good things out of him but Rushmore that’s a little extreme. There’s a better argument for keeping the monuments to confederate soldiers, at least they risked their ass in war. Even though I’m glad they lost :-)
