Yet Trump is the only one who wants to send in the troops. Yes if there are riots then that is different as their is wide spreed damage and numerous people.

That one example that I posted when the military came in and started blasting away is an example of not having no experience with dealing with American citizens who may be in the crossfire. .

Police will try to keep casualties at a minimal but that is not in the military mind set. Yes they want to avoid civilian from being caught in the crossfire but sometimes the enemy will be using civilian for protection.
