President Trump, for whom I plan to vote, should NOT send federal forces to that city, IMHO.

The situation there is intractable.

A few feds cannot correct the situation, for it is rooted in culture. A few feds cannot effect any lasting changes.

Just as in Portland, the President's enemies will lambaste him for his action. The poor guy can't win. So he should do what every other president has done: forget about the place.

It is up to the people of Chicago to make any constructive changes. And that, of course, is unlikely.

All we have seen are unidentified armed men jumping out of civilian vehicles and grabbing people. No faces, no identification, no established police procedure. Just officially sanctioned kidnapping.

He is simply not willing to let that city further devolve into third world country status.
He promised African Americans hope if they took a chance on him.
No where in any first world country do law abiding citizens need help more than Chicago.
It may not be politically expedient - but he is a doer and not just a politician.

We're already seeing the first signs of the Trump campaign evolution, as black neigborhoods are showing signs of fresh, anti-BLM/Antifa vanadalism in Wisconsin (Milwaukee is just a suburb of SHY). August, the traditional cause-trouble month, should be a doosey, and will likely engender divisionary symptoms in the black community. They're already pretty tweaky and paranoid in the capital of Wisconsin, and blacks are migrating out of Shy as whites buy their real estate.
