First of all, I don't believe anything coming from the New York Times, so whatever comes from them, to me, is the same thing as nothing.

It has always been the case that natural barriers exist (especially mountains), where migrants could not cross the border. Trump has never argued against that, and has never claimed that there would wall across all the miles of border.

As for "cost of the wall, number of border crossings, terrorist crossings, and maintenance of the wall", I don't see anything in your posting to show that Trump lied about these things. Just because somebody says something doesn't mean they are telling the truth.

In terms of sheer numbers, I would easily guess that Trump is correct, if he said the flu is worse than Covid-19. Almost everybody gets the flu. Only a small % of Americans have gotten Covi-19.

Your statement that oer one million people have gotten Covid -19 if simply FALSE. Maybe you don't know he whole story on Covid #s. They are grossly inflated (even the CDC has openly admitted that their own numbers are wrong). The number got that way because if the CARES At which foolishly
was designed to pay hospitals thousands of $$$ for each Covid death they reported. The result couldn't have been more predictable. Comorbidities went through the roof.

Hospitals began reporting all deaths as Covid deaths, and the money came pouring in. Every death you can think of got reported as a Covid death, people were being pulled dead out of car accidents, and they were reported as Covid deaths. Actual total Covid deaths probably number well less than 100,000.
