Trump Speech 4/1/2026

Kind of funny that no one has created a thread yet, so it's up to me. Trump gave a speech tonight. Short by his standards, only 19 minutes. But it's not getting good marks for content, delivery, or confidence-boosting.

Let's start with Ian Bremmer, head of the EurAsia Group. Mainly because he's very hooked in, and talks to diplomats and ambassadors and such constantly.

Brief, powerful, and to the point. Oozing with confidence and competence. Leftwingers don’t like him unraveling their world, so you wouldn’t expect them to praise the speech

Look, if Trump wants to give speeches looking like a first class jerkoff like he did tonight, more power to him.

By all means, proceed.
It’ll really hurt his re-election chances right? But he’s a king there’s no more elections ever!

I just saw someone say on twitter that if we were still playing the Trump Drinking Game you could get shit-faced just from "like no one has ever seen before".

You’d be dead if you played a drinking game for Amy of Biden falling down, word salad, or putting down black people

Europe isn't having an issue.

Europe refused Trump the use of their bases.

And no one can open the Straight by force. They have too many ways to disable, and even sink these ships and neither we nor anyone else can do jack shit about it. Not militarily, anyway.
You’re the typical French surrender monkey.
