He went on a Twitter storm slamming some of the talking heads on FoxNews on Saturday and Sunday.

I don’t blame him. Some of them are so anti-Trump you’d think they’d just come out and endorse a Dimocrap candidate.

Watching @FoxNews weekend anchors is worse than watching low ratings Fake News @CNN, or Lyin’ Brian Williams (remember when he totally fabricated a War Story trying to make himself into a hero, & got fired. A very dishonest journalist!) and the crew of degenerate…… — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 7, 2019
There are more after that in the same vein.

He’s absolutely right.

Before Trump even thought about running for president, FOX had their programming ratings running at the top, or close to it.

No. Trump isn't responsible for getting them anywhere. This is just another example of Trump claiming credit that isn't his.

And ABS's TDS.

Well, Disney did buy Fox a few months back.

They bought 21st Century Fox, and a lot of their holdings, but as far as FOX News? That is still owned by Murdoch.

Here’s what Disney owns after the massive Disney/Fox merger

2) Fox Corp still exists, independent from Disney. It’s primarily a news and sports company now, though it does still own the Fox TV network.
Rupert Murdoch isn’t going anywhere (well, beyond the fact that he’s very old and is increasingly turning control of his company over to his sons). Always a newsman at heart, he’s now almost completely out of the entertainment business.

What’s left for Murdoch are his many, many publications (the Wall Street Journal among them) as part of the company News Corp, and then the various holdings of Fox Corp, including Fox Sports, Fox News, and the Fox TV network. (That last one is still at Fox Corp because no one corporation can own more than one broadcast network, and Disney already owned ABC.) Also — and this is neither here nor there, but I find it fascinating — former House Speaker Paul Ryan is now on the company’s board of directors.

The fortunes of Fox Corp, then, are tied ever more tightly to its conservative-skewing news network, its access to an NFL package, and reality television.

I seem to remember quite a few conservatives on this board who during Obama's presidency, were quite often singing the praises of FOX news and saying how they were a media powerhouse with top ratings on a regular basis. No, Trump didn't get FOX anywhere.

I'm pretty sure gossip mag monger Rupert Murdoch and his grabby lieutenant Roger Ailes are who got them where they are.

If this is the sort of circus Rump wants the blame for, it says volumes about his values.

Well, Disney did buy Fox a few months back.

They bought the entertainment end only.

Murdoch's kids took over FOX management. They're quite Progressive. That's why the day crew has felt free to reveal their true natures.

The night crew remains as they were. They're the ones bringing in the ratings. The boys won't anger them.

Don't get a rash, people. Trump didn't say that he got Fox where they are. In fact he said something entirely different >> "...they forgot the people who got them there!"

...a “source” of information (ask the Times what they paid for the Boston Globe, & what they sold it for (lost 1.5 Billion Dollars), or their old headquarters building disaster, or their unfunded liability? @FoxNews is changing fast, but they forgot the people who got them there!

It says something about yours when you post recklessly, without knowing what you're talking about.

That's almost a direct copy of what David Duke tweeted from Tiki-land

Ah--- really?

Did I spell Murdoch wrong? Or what?

Dude, if you don't think Trump was referring to himself when he said they forgot the people who got them there, you're even more deluded than I thought, because Trump would never share credit with anyone as he is a total narcissist.

Shep Smith, Chris Wallace, and a couple of others are out in left field.

Fox&Friends, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, are right field.

Dana Perino and a couple of others are sort of on the fence.

This is the problem when the President has a thin skin.
