Like I said- Trump gets a lot of things wrong imo. But I sometimes wonder if that has anything to do with not being a polished politician instead of a guy so involved in business and construction. (not that there's anything wrong with that)

One of the things I really admire about Trump is his love for America and despite some missteps and stumbles, he really wants the best for this country and the people in it.

Maybe not he ones that tried to kill him, lol!

If this were 1936, I would have supported a leader willing to confront the Nazis. Trump is confronting their modern equivalent.

MB, you are forcing me to respond. You are a contrarian, if you could stand outside yourself looking in, you would see you always take a contrarian POV and never side with a "partisan talking point," that in itself points to a LACK of integrity because, truth is, sometimes the truth just happens to align with one party or the other! So, if you never align with their views, that is a deliberate decision imposed, so, cannot be said to be truly honest.

As Dean said, Trump is human, Trump makes mistakes, I don't know of any president who ever did anything 100% right, but Trump does a lot of good, Trump is a once-in-a-lifetime kind of guy. His doing something good that many presidents would not have the stones to do and your liking it or agreeing with it is neither partisan nor lack of integrity just because you happen to agree with or like it.

People can take a position for more than one reason, and it is your own myopia that prevents you from seeing that and realizing one can take a position simply out of partisanship, but if one truly has real integrity, he might even allow himself that position simply because it was the right thing to do, whether it aligns with a "party view" or not, and not necessarily out of partisanship.
