So Trump intends to try to dismantle the Civil Rights Act of 1964, yet in the EO he issued to erase anything perceived to be affiliated with any diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives or programs, his pretext alleged reason for doing so is because he and his minions have proclaimed DEI to be a violation of the very same Civil Rights Act of 1964.

So in other words, he's trying to gut the very law that he's alleging is being violated, or rather to state things more accurately, he's trying to gut the CRA WHEN he perceives it to benefit Black people, yet relies on it and alleges it's being violated in order to use it to benefit white people, meritocracy realistically having nothing to do with it.

The bigots have been at this since they started screaming about reverse discrimination in the 1970’s.

The title is a joke. If a demographic cannot compete on basis of merit, then that demographic needs to reassess its values and principles and correct whatever behavior is holding it back.

The black man/woman, the brown man/woman who is the most competent and qualified in his/her field will get the job. And everybody will know that person qualified and deserved the job instead of being the 'affirmative action' or 'token' employee and never receiving the respect or appreciation he/she has legitimately earned.

DEI is the most racist and and other '-ist' counter productive policy the Democrats have come up with since segregation ended. And it denigrates people by presuming they can't qualify or succeed on their own efforts without '******' manipulating and removing qualifications so that they can.

Trump's policy of meritocracy in no way dismantles the Civil Rights Act or removes the government's responsibility to address illegal discrimination.
