Drug companies could recoup their losses due to Trump’s EO by eliminating those damn commercials on TV.

So other nations pay cheaper prices for the same. Yu guys would complain all the time. What they are asking for is cost. You guys love the trade deals. Europe is advance in socialism due to us paying the freight. You hate the whites anyway. And the socialism works best in white areas for some reason. Of course, many of the products we purchase are from overseas slaves in manufacturing. You like that. To know that hard labor manufacturing employees in China are smarter or educated better than a percentage of our DEI people is mind numbing.
well, if people don't buy products until they are cheaper, is that price control?

Price controls inevetably lead to shortages.
Deregulation allowing greater competition is the answer.

The Facts About the $35 Insulin Copay Cap in Medicare

In 2022, President Biden signed into law the Inflation Reduction Act, which included a provision that requires all Part D plans to charge no more than $35 per month for all covered insulin products, and also limits cost sharing for insulin covered under Part B to $35 per month. Deductibles no longer apply to insulins under Part D or Part B. These provisions took effect in 2023 (January 1 for Part D; July 1 for Part B).

Trump rolled Biden's plan back and made participation voluntary. So if you have the wrong Part D plan, Trump fucked you.

The Trump Administration’s model relied on voluntary Part D plan participation, while the Biden Administration copay cap applies under all Part D plans. In 2022, a total of 2,159 Part D plans participated in the Trump Administration’s model, including both stand-alone prescription drug plans and Medicare Advantage drug plans, which is 38% of all Part D plans that year. Under the Inflation Reduction Act, the $35 copay cap is available in all 6,000 Part D plans available in 2024.

Trump signed EO's rolling back Biden policies which reduced drug prices for Medicaid and Medicare patients.

His whining about the cost of drugs now is the epitome of hucksterism.

No one can explain why Trump repealed the two EO's Biden signed which lowered drug prices.
Also, when Trump released his EO, the stock prices of pharma companies jumped UP. Hmmm...
Wrong again. Democrat talking points are generally lies.

Trump Order Didn’t Reverse All of Biden’s Measures to Lower Drug Costs

President Donald Trump rescinded an executive order issued by former President Joe Biden aimed at finding new models for lowering drug costs. Trump’s action didn’t affect the caps on seniors’ drug costs or Medicare price negotiations that Biden signed into law. But social media posts have wrongly claimed otherwise.

There are NO PRICE CONTROLS
Pharma can raise the average price, but the US is ending price gouging.

Key word: All.

Comprehension fail.

ALL A LIE. The $35 insulin cap is in the IRA, an EO cannot repeal it, only new legislation can.

Fact Check: Insulin cap for Medicare unaffected by Trump order on prescription drug costs

A provision about insulin in the Inflation Reduction Act is conflated with a 2022 executive order by former President Joe Biden on lowering prescription drug costs in posts online that suggest President Donald Trump has canceled the $35 insulin co-pay cap for certain Medicare programs.
Biden’s executive action in October 2022 did not establish the $35 insulin cap, which was put in place by the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022
, opens new tab two months earlier. The IRA can only be repealed, opens new tab through new legislation and not by an executive order.

Show which ones Trump raised. Don't forget the MSM lies about as much as you do.
I just showed you a very specific example of a policy Trump rolled back, and even your link mentioned that very example.

Comprehension fail.

Trump bleevs he can.

Which is pretty much the point I have been making. His EO is hucksterism to gaslight you rubes once again.

Trump did not mess with the $35 insulin in the IRA dumbass, its a LAW.
You need to learn how to read.

It is Trump's goal to roll back Biden's plan to be a voluntary plan.

So his claim to be looking out for Medicare and Medicaid patients is a big, fat, orange hoax.

The GOP is working to reduce Medicare and Medicaid spending by $800 million.

******* over the cost of insulin is just the first step.

OK, so now its Trump's "goal".
Actually its a Law, called the IRA, only an act of congress can change it.

Republicans want to cut $880b from Medicaid's "waste, fraud, and theft", it remains to be seen if they can.

Trump, a reality TV star, has no equal in this regard.

He’s made a lifetime career out of looking like he’s doing something.
lol....most of the people in congress do that.....there is a reason they have such a low approval rating....

This EO is basically fluff. It doesn’t say anything specific other than asking companies to lower prices.
I would agree with that.

A president doesn’t have the authority to determine a pharmaceutical drug company prescription drug prices.

lol....most of the people in congress do that.....there is a reason they have such a low approval rating....
No they don’t. They can’t. Members of Congress just vote on bills. They have no other real power.
