This reminds me of Kyle Rittenhouse. He saw BLM people running towards him so he "defended" himself. He had the right to be carrying an assault rifle around a protest knowing/hoping it might turn into a riot.

But the BLM guy carrying a gun was shot because a MAGA asshole in a car felt threatened when he saw a BLM protester walking towards him with a gun. He was found guilty of murder but then Texas Governor gave him a pardon because all he did was shoot a BLM protester.
