Last evening president Donald Trump ranted to the nation about his achievements in the last eleven months. He was tense and seemed upset, likely because of falling poll numbers and unfavorable economic reports. It was more of a scolding and seemed out of place. Thoughts?

It was a typical Trump like, Truth Social rant.

He's got nothing. He knows he has nothing. He knows he owns the economic mess and he will be blamed for it. So he tries to deflect. What any good despot would do. And despite his repeated attempts to blame his predecessor, he owns all of it. And that makes him mad.

Beyond that, it's obvious (also based on Susan Wiles comments) he's suffering from the advanced stages of some brain ailment. He isn't fit to occupy the office. I seriously don't expect him to make it to the midterms.

So inflation IS rising under Trump. It was at 3% prior to "Liberation Day", fell to 2.3% shortly thereafter, and is rising again. At 3%...which is where it was when he took office. Where it had fallen to under Joe Biden.
