There is everything dishonest about voting by mail dishonestly. Voting by mail does not make a person automatically dishonest. But voting by mail without safeguards to ensure the person mailing the ballot is legally authorized to do so does lend itself to a lot of opportunity for dishonesty.

Okay, we now know you don't live in california and several other states.

BTW, I have to show my ID every election too.
Pa. did not have to check signatures with their mail in ballots.
In 2020 several states just mailed them out to anyone on the voting rolls.
Whether they moved, or had died, the ballot went to their last known address.
