He says the new President Delcy Rodríguez "will do whatever we need... and she doesn't really have a choice." (yesterday's statement) (today's statement)

Boots on the ground won't be very popular, but if Trump can somehow facilitate the rebuilding of Venezuela's oil production, the sustained low gas prices will be.

He's basically threatened her that he'll invade if she doesn't do what he wants.

She gave him the middle finger.

So, it seems like Trump has removed a leader, and done nothing else to change things.

So, he can either pretend something happened, like he did with Thailand-Cambodia, DRC-Rwanda etc, or he can go to war. I bet he does the former.

Even if she wanted to give the US all the oil and all the minerals, she couldn't, because she doesn't control it.

But we do know this... Maduro lost the election by a landslide and then took over office. THE V.P. is part of that cabal.
