Trump says he'll be running Venezuela. How?

Well yeah , she's a thug too.. on the take. Guess we will see, but I sure am not privy to whatever info Trump has.

But we do know this... Maduro lost the election by a landslide and then took over office. THE V.P. is part of that cabal.
So what's changed? Not much.

The US does not control Venezuela. Most people seem to think Maduro's gone, the US is in charge of the country. Even Trump seems to think this, or at least is pretending.

He will appoint a lackey, maybe Rubio.

However, the US does not control Venezuela. It's still being run by the same party, same system.
Those people arent as protected as their president. They are sitting ducks for drone strikes. Im fairly certain that a few phone calls to these people will get them to play ball. :dunno:

It's jungle territory. Drones will be as useful as dropping huge amounts of bombs on Vietnam.

"Trump says US will 'run Venezuela' after President Nicolas Maduro captured"

"Donald Trump has said the US is going to "run" Venezuela to clear the way for a "safe, proper and judicious" transition of power after Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro was captured in a US raid."

"“We're going to run the country until such time as we can do a safe, proper and judicious transition,” Trump said at a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where he boasted that “no nation in the world could achieve what America achieved”."

"Trump did not rule out the possibility of further US military involvement to help shape Venezuela's future, telling reporters in Florida: “We’re not afraid of boots in the ground.”"

Essentially Trump says US oil companies will be making loads of money "for Venezuela", but you can bet that it'll be for themselves.

However, the US does not control Venezuela. It's still being run by the same party, same system.

So, in order to run it, Trump has to invade. Which will be a lot harder than kidnapping someone. Especially in a jungle country with Chinese weapons and money.
proxy through other's there who align with our form of government perhaps?

Problem is, the same people are still in charge.

The current acting president is from a family of Marxists. You think she's just going to roll over?

The irony is he wants to build infrastructure and build up Venezuela all while cutting and destroying our ability to do the same in our own ******* country. You can't make this shit up!

Already chosen your country's side in the civil war, eh? A fine old American tradition.

The traditional one America creates in the countries it invades and then takes sides in. Have you been in a cave for the last few decades?

Super bad. They bombed Libya with the French and British, Gadaffi was killed, and then the US disappeared and let warring factions fight it out.
But not before first destroying all the real progress and even infrastructure Qaddafi put in place for the betterment of the people he lead.

show some examples of countries we liberated and then takes sides in, I'll wait

we did not invade them, we removed a socialist dictator asshole and the people are happy to breathe again

Actually, a bit more than few.

Im talking about politicians in the government. No one gives a shit about jungle soldiers. The jungle soldiers pose zero threat. I cant even imagine why we would need to bomb them. They are free to sit in the jungle all they want, completely unopposed by the US. :dunno:
