If you want the full sentence, you can post it. It doesn't change anything, but you can.

Watch the unedited video to see how much of a putz you are.
"Trump: ‘A Lot of People Are Saying Maybe We'd Like a Dictator'"
Of all the stupid things Trump could say, this has to be up there.
"On Monday, Trump appeared to tease the notion of the United States becoming a full-fledged dictatorship while signing executive orders in the Oval Office."
You are a complete moron. You got duped by MSN.Yeah, he did.
If you want the full sentence, you can post it. It doesn't change anything, but you can.

another situation like "there were good people on both sides" from 8 years ago.
they know it's only half the quote, but that all they are interested in.
If the full quote actually changed the topic, then I would have posted it.
It doesn't.
If you were so interested in it, you'd have posted it.
Trump said "“A lot of people are saying, ‘Maybe we would like a dictator.’ I don’t like a dictator; I’m not a dictator. I’m a man with great common sense, and I’m a smart person,”"
He said "I don't like a dictator"
Bullshit.
He's said how much he is friends with Xi, with Putin, with Kim Jong Un.
He said he's not a dictator. He's right, he's not. Doesn't mean he's not saying things that are dangerous and pushing the US towards a dictatorship.
As for his "common sense" and "smart person" comment, well.... that doesn't say anything.
So, what do you think the words after mean?
Because I think that Trump knows what he's doing. He knows when he makes such comments what will get reported and what won't. He put this out there for two reasons. 1) because he wants to see how it's taken by his own side. Will they ignore it or will they push back. I think you can see the answer on here is you are all ignoring it, again. 2) because he wants to get heard. His policy of getting the media, no matter whether it's negative or not.
The problem is what he's said is DANGEROUS. Doesn't matter what he said after. The fact that he said “A lot of people are saying, ‘Maybe we would like a dictator.’" is something the US president SHOULD NOT BE SAYING.
It sends the wrong message, especially from a guy who is supporting gerrymandering, who is trying to destroy the checks and balances, trying to control the federal reserves, trying to gain too much control which goes against the US Constitution.

Hopelessly inept at Reality.Imagine when you think the president's job is to entertain you, rather than RUNNING THE ******* COUNTRY.
You said Biden was incompetent. Incompetent at what? Humoring you?
Not a chance.Must insert TDS some how some way
Give it a rest, it's tiresome

If the US electorate utilized democracy to change the USA into a dictatorship, would you oppose democracy?Trump knows what he's doing. He said he's not a dictator, the US doesn't have a dictator. He's saying people would like a dictator. This is FUTURE. The "I'm a man with common sense and a smart person" does not suggest that he wouldn't like to be the dictator when the position is available.
Also it totally ignores the fact that the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is talking about the US having a dictatorship. Which is the real issue here. The issue that you forgot to talk about.
If it’s a dictatorship; it’s not democracy. If the US electorate utilized democracy to change the USA into a dictatorship, would you oppose democracy?

tRump is, in his own demented way, a pretty transparent individual. If he's saying it he's thinking it and the "a lot of people are saying" thing is his internal justification for doing whatever it is he's talking about.

He's literally talking about the US being a dictatorship. The US has a very fragile democracy, it works because people think it works. Now he's talking about the US having a dictator instead of a president.
Do you know how dangerous that is?
