Trump removes Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook from office, citing fraud allegations

Sure, amongst the group think Democrats, but who cares? As far as I am concerned, they are children and should only speak when spoken to.
He’s seen huge drops with independents. Conservatives still give him like 95% approval on basically everything because they can’t speak against him.

You have the mindset of a child. You’ll make any excuse to maintain your comfortable fantasy world and avoid ever having to admit you’re wrong.

We have an allegation, Foxfyre and Sweet Tea. Nothing else. Nada.

Let us see what Cook's attorney files and if DOJ files. Both will be challenged and up the courts it will go.

And Cook will remain in office until 2032.

Trump’s approval is underwater on every major issue.
A Harvard Caps/Harris poll released Monday, hardly anybody's idea of a rightwing group, concluded 54% are approving of President Trump's effort to clean up Washington DC.

Firing Lisa Cook is just a small part of that.

Now would you like to discuss the thread topic or is your purpose here to detract, derail, change the subject, start a food fight to get the thread closed? What?

Another illustration of how a member cannot rebut an argument or opinion so he attacks me.

Especially with this member, that is generally 100% proof that I won the argument! :)

Meanwhile, President Trump uses his AUTHORITY to continue to one by one clean the swamp creatures from our government. It helps a lot when they provide him with plenty of ammunition to do it as Lisa Cook did.
The message from the Trump administration is that you are to do what they want or else they will make you pay.

If Cook had voted to cut rates, nothing would have happened to her.

That post looks like the "projection" rationale' by democrats why they are at 19%.
Maintain your fantasy world that Trump is incompetent, and avoid ever admitting you are wrong.

Trump is pretty incompetent. He’s mismanaging the economy to the point that he’s willing to take extreme measures to get rate cuts at the Fed to stimulate a sluggish market.

Firing Cook is a desperate measure from a desperate man. It’s blisteringly obvious it has nothing to do with the law, but using any means necessary to influence the decisions of a supposedly independent federal reserve board.

That’s what makes him an authoritarian. He’s using and abusing government authority to do things no president ever did before.

What they want is a strong, free, secure, prosperous for all America--make America great again.

For damn sure anybody throwing up roadblocks to prevent them achieving that should pay.

Don't you agree?

Fake polls.
Sure like these were fake pictures I guess...

Holocaust denial is a state of mind, magats are metaphorical Holocaust deniers. we know which side they'd be with during WW2. They'd be clamoring to deport Jews back to Europe just as they are clamoring to deport Hispanics back to Latin America or even Uganda.

A sluggish market? A market that achieved all time highs in the DOW, Nasdaq, S&P on Friday?

You really REALLY need better sources.

Once more are you capable of discussing the thread topic now?

I think this country still has room for dissent.

No, I don’t think people who disagree with the president should face persecution from the government.

That’s not making us great. That’s making us more fascist.

A recent CNBC All-America Economic Survey shows the Democratic Party with a net favorability of -32, which is among the lowest recorded in nearly three decades. Here's the breakdown:
  • 24% of registered voters view the party favorably
  • 56% view it unfavorably

National Approval & Challenges

  • Donald Trump’s net approval rating has dipped to between -12 and -6, depending on the poll.
  • His overall approval sits around 42%, tying him with Joe Biden for the lowest average among modern presidents.
  • The decline is largely attributed to:
    • Inflation concerns
    • Controversial redistricting efforts
    • Tariff-driven price hikes that have hit consumers hard2

I wasn’t referring to the stock market. GDP growth, job growth, consumer spending growth are all sluggish.

You know, the actual economy.

The reason the Trump friendly governors on the federal reserve have been advocating for rate cuts is that they’re worried about a collapse of the labor market. The economy is not doing great and it’s precisely because of Trump’s actions.

No worries for them, whatever transpires it will be Biden's fault or perhaps Obama's, poor old trump, always the victim.

He absolutely is using his authority to do things no President ever had the instincts, intuition and/or courage to do before. That's what makes him so successful as he is achieving more with the time and resources he has than any president in my now very long lifetime.

He isn't a politician, partisan nor ideologue and he extremely annoys those on both sides who are. He thinks outside the box, ignores the status quo, ignores those who say this or that can't be done. If his personality can be somewhat obnoxious at times,. his track record has been pretty awesome.

Has he made mistakes or taken longer than he hoped to get something done? Of course. He's human and fallible as all of us are. But he is successful far far FAR more than he isn't.

Exactly how is it using and abusing his power to achieve good things for America and Americans he is sworn to serve as their President?

Exactly how is it using and abusing his power to fire a swamp creature in his intent to restore a government that serves the people instead of itself as it was constitutionally intended to do?

Trump has had eight months to turn around an economy that Biden put in a terrible situation and jeopardy. We won't get fully into Trump policies and budget until October and beyond.

Meanhwile this thread is about Lisa Cook. Would you care to discuss that?
