Never said there was Pooky. Pence is the one who said "“I think it’s important that the American people know what happened in the days before January 6,” Pence said. “President Trump demanded that I use my authority as vice president presiding over the count of the Electoral College to essentially overturn the election by returning or literally rejecting votes. I had no authority to do that.”
Do you doubt him?
For those who might doubt him, Pence urged them to “read the indictment.”
Maine is in the news again after its secretary of state – a Trump-hating-partisan Democrat decided she had the authority to tell the Republican party (a private corporation) who could be on their primary ballot. That was the big news. Shenna Bellows. Trump kicked off Maine Ballot. Or, is he? No...

Florida Secretary of State rejected three contested counties’ appeals for more time to recount the votes by hand
Certified results from Florida’s 67 counties announced Tuesday night by Harris showed George W. Bush with 2,910,492 votes and Gore with 2,910,192, a 300-vote lead for the Texas governor.
You've haven't answered it satisfactorily. You strawmaning morons keep referring to criminal due process. Were either of these judgements criminal trials with criminal penalties? Your due process for a criminal trial is different than your due process for a civil trial or in this case, your due process to determine whether you are eligible, as per the Constitution, to appear on the ballot or hold the office of President of the United States.
And yet, he was found innocent under our system. Why do you Dimwinger fascists always want to ignore reality to push you terminal TDS induced delusions, vermin?

Already had recounts, Simp. Not a single vote was thrown out by the SOS.
Florida election law clearly spells out a deadline for recounts, and requires a recount of the entire state, not just a few cherry picked counties by Gore.

"Specifically, Mr. Trump's claim that insurrection must be “violent enough, potent enough, long enough, and organized enough to be considered a significant step on the way to rebellion,” id. at 39, is both ambiguous as a standard and poorly supported by the evidence he cites. Accord Anderson, 2023 CO 63, 183. An insurrection need not involve military-style weaponry, see Case of Fries, 9 F. Cas. 940 (C.CD. Pa. 1800) (“[Military weapons” like “guns and swords” “are not necessary to make such insurrection or rising amount to levying of war”), involve bloodshed, see In re Charge to Grand Jury, 62 F. 828,"
"Nonetheless, even if insurrection under Section Three were so limited, the evidence here shows that the events of January 6, 2021 meet that standard. As demonstrated by videos and ‘documentary evidence in the record, a large and angry crowd entered the U.S. Capitol nearmidday on January 6 and assaulted the capitol police officers charged with defending it, vandalized and Stole property, and ransacked offices."

There were two civil war cases of people removed from their office because of the 14th. One was done by the county election board, the other by the postmaster general. An appeal of the removal (due process) had the courts uphold the removals.
Says who? You just made that up. Just because it is a federal crime doesn't mean it can't also be a political issue, as it would be under Impeachment proceedings. Or civil matter, as it would be if your insurrection lead to deaths or injuries you could be held financially liable for. Or in this case, constitutionally disqualifying from holding office or appearing on a ballot.
The confederate soldiers that the 14th was specifically written for? They had a congressional act and Presidential decree finding they participated in the Civil War, Simp.

On Wednesday, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach, met the 2 p.m. ET deadline set by Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris for each to explain why new hand-count tallies submitted after the deadline should replace earlier machine recount totals.
