Wow, you really can't think of anything? How about addressing wealth inequality by revamping our system of taxation. Tax all income the same, both unearned and earned income. Ronald Reagan supported that concept, I think the blue collar members of MAGA could get behind that concept once it was properly explained. For instance, a blue collar worker diligently contributes to his 401K, after decades he starts drawing income from it, I mean he has too, it is called a minimum distribution, and he pays taxes on that income at the same rate he would on earned income. If there is anything left when he dies, well his heirs have to pay taxes on the gains.
Rich person invests in the stock market for decades. When he pulls money out, he doesn't have to pay taxes at the earned income rate, like our blue collar worker. Nope, he pays long term capital gains, a much lower rate in most circumstances. And the real kicker, he doesn't have to take the money out, and if he dies, no one pays taxes on those gains. Time to level the playing field.
How about affordable housing? I hear Trump is going to come out with some plans. Democrats have made several proposals. I believe both the right and the left can come to agreement on steps that can be taken to alleviate the affordable housing shortage.
What about the tariffs? I realize that I have mostly been yelling in a cooler, no one seems to hear. But I predicted inflation would start heating up now and be fully ablaze by the holiday shopping season. The CPI numbers didn't look so good this week, as I predicted last month after the PPI numbers came out. We will see next week when the PPI number comes out again, it will be worse than last month and will indicate even higher inflation within the CPI next month. And what was the biggest driver of the inflation increase, not groceries, HOUSING.
How about gas prices? I know, I know, Charlie Kirk was murdered, but did you see, gas prices ticked up last month. I mean here is a proposal both parties can get behind, STOP EXPORTING CRUDE. Makes no damn sense. It used to be illegal.
What about employment? I mean the numbers have been, well, just sad. Where are all those jobs in manufacturing that were supposed to come back due to the tariffs? Where is all that promised foreign investment in domestic manufacturing? I mean I got to give it to this administration. They manage to increase unemployment and increase inflation at the same damn time. Pretty damn hard to do. I guess the Philip's curve is dead.
I mean I realize I am long winded. But it should be easy to get the point. What happened to Kirk was tragic, and it was wrong. But Trump fans the flames of divisiveness. He said he would end the war in Ukraine with one phone call, Now Putin is sending drones into Polish air space and Trump is making excuses for him. Trump said he would lower inflation, he failed. He said he would increase employment, he failed. He said he would bring peace in the Middle East, now Israel is making a full blown attack on Gaza City, killing innocent civilians queuing for food aid, bombing Qatar, and planning for the largest expansion of settlements in the West Bank in history. Trump failed. He said he would bring gas prices down, he failed.
Sure, Trump shut down the border. Probably because no one wants to come to this shithole anymore. Would you? But both Obama and Biden deported more criminals than Trump can possibly get to. I mean Alligator Alcatraz is now empty, millions of dollars pissed away. Now, Trump is planning to send thousand of low-risk immigrants to Gitmo, and the water quit working. I mean this administration is a complete and total damn clown show. I really don't think we can survive another three years.

How the **** is taxing all income the same Socialism? Why do non-qualified accounts get the step-up at death but qualified accounts do not? Actually, there is a solid reason for that but I doubt you have any clue.
