Harris has neurological defects that make her communication difficult. She has Tourette's Syndome which causes her to giggle inappropriately. When she cackles due to her Tourette's, she has an exaggerated shoulder shrug. She has echolalia. That's what causes the word salad episodes. A word or a phrase will trigger her echolalia and she will repeat the same thing over and over.
When was she diagnosed with Tourette's and echolalia? If she really was, they are disabilities that affect how she would do the job that requires the utmost in the ability to communicate verbally.
Do you need a diagnosis when the evidence is right in front of you. When you come across someone with no legs, do you need a diagnosis and medical report to tell you their legs have been amputated?
