Going into Iraq took resources away from Afghanistan. Many people were saying at the time of the Iraq invasion that a 20 billion dollar investment in schools, hospitals, and roads AT THAT TIME as well as a strong continued attack on the Taliban might well have made a huge difference.

We didn't do that.
