Trump promised manufacturing magic. ISM report says “nope!”

Today’s ISM Manufacturing Report (September 2, 2025) hits a lousy 48.7, signaling six straight months of U.S. factory contraction . all thanks to Trump’s chaotic tariffs jacking up costs and killing demand
It's like throwing a large rock into a lake. You're focusing on the splash and the ripples it makes, but are ignoring that the water will become calm again.

Not true. The US was being taken advantage of for decades. Now tariffs will help us pay down our $37T in Debt.
You and I are paying those taxes FACT

Yet you still defend tax breaks for billionaires.

You are fucked up dude.

Translation:

The RICH are constantly given opportunities to pounce on the middle class, and that makes you happy?

Seriously

How are they pouncing on me?

Please spare me the victim mentality. The irony strikes me that we all want to become rich, but in the process, we ostracize and vilify rich people. You must be joking!

It's all so mind-blowingly stupid. Do better.

So when the market dropped’bigly’ because of trumps tariff deals, who benefits?

As you said, when the water(market) calms, which it did and always does, who benefits?

Are you honest enough to answer?

Buying opportunities
When the market drops excessively it creates buying opportunities for those with money

When these buying opportunities are created by corruption, you see no fault?

Do I necessarily need to benefit from it? I didn't feel any impact from it.

It's basic macroeconomics, Winky. Since the market is accessible to everyone, any disturbance to it will impact everyone, and when the disturbance subsides, any harm to the people will be mitigated. If the disturbance eventually results in a positive impact on the market, everyone benefits. EVERYONE.

It's similar to the side effects of medication. If you take it enough, those side effects subside, the body becomes accustomed to the foreign agent, and it adapts, just as the middle class, and more importantly, the economy, will.

You miss the forest for the trees.

When will you Trump haters ever mention the giant tariffs other countries charge us? Wait, you think the other countries pay those tariffs?

A tariff is a tax that a government places on goods imported from other countries. It’s usually charged as a percentage of the product’s value, and are often used to protect local industries by making imported goods more expensive, which encourages consumers to buy products made within their own country. Donald Trump wants to “re-shore manufacturing, and drive economic growth for the American people“. Tariffs can be good for domestic manufacturers and workers, because they reduce competition from cheaper foreign products, thus helping to protect jobs and support local businesses.

Buying opportunities
When the market drops excessively it creates buying opportunities for those with money
And this is bad, how?

When these buying opportunities are created by corruption, you see no fault?
And when they aren't created by corruption? This narrow-minded focus you have feels intellectually dishonest. Re-evaluate your worldview. I can't do that for you.

You Newsmax, etc, watchers always believe the trump motto

“We are getting screwed by all the other nations”

So now, Robert, since trump created this so-called fair trade, explain why our exports have decreased?

Can you do that?
Or will you just deny that:

1) China is not buying farmers products
2) Exports are way down.

Talking is not walking. Sunning is not running. Spinning is not winning,
First state your case and build it with proof. Can you do that?

Easy To do.

Q1).

Has the tariff war trump himself created, has it caused foreign countries to decrease the buying of US products?

And how exactly is this any form of winning?

Don’t deflect just answer the Q1)
