Trump posts image of himself as Jesuschrist

How does Trump’s troll post help make America great? Curious.

You guys still don’t get it

Fans of Obama generated those images. Obama did not request them or spread them.

Trump encourages images of himself as a Super Hero or Deity. He demands that things be named after him and that his staff constantly praise him

You don't know that. Post a link to any news source where Obozo demanded the memes be taken down.

..

Of course there are other things going on in the world. But THIS thread isn't about Iran, it's about Trump posting an image of himself as Jesus Christ.
...

That is just bs... even one of the leading evangelical Christian representatives in the US doesn't agree with you. :dunno:

Franklin Graham:

I had received some questions about President Donald J. Trump’s recent posts, and here are my thoughts:
I do not believe President Trump would knowingly depict himself as Jesus Christ—that would certainly be inappropriate. I’m thankful the President has made it very clear that this was not at all what he thought the AI-generated image was representing—he thought it was a doctor helping someone, and when he learned of the concerns, he immediately removed the post.

When I looked at the illustration, I didn’t jump to the same conclusion as some. There were no spiritual references—no halo, there were no crosses, no angels. It was a flag, soldiers, a nurse, fighter planes, eagles, the Statue of Liberty, and I think this is a lot to do about nothing. There is so much ill-intended speculation. I think his enemies are always foaming at the mouth at any possible opportunity to make him look bad.

And the illustration from someone else he reposted on Truth Social yesterday, I must say that I like the fact that this is a picture of Jesus whispering in his ear, or at least His hand on his shoulder, guiding him. We all need that—we all need to be listening to Jesus. Again, I think there is an attempt to spin this into something that it isn’t. Remember, President Trump didn’t draw this, he didn’t create it, he reposted it on his social media because he thought it was nice—I would have to agree.

I’m not a Catholic, I’m an evangelical, but I appreciate how President Trump has defended religious freedom for people of all faiths, including millions of evangelicals and Catholics in the U.S. and around the world. He is the most pro-Christian, pro-life president in my lifetime, and he doesn’t shy away from it. I would hope that the President and Pope Leo can meet at some point, and that the Pope would have the opportunity to thank the President for his efforts to protect religious liberty for Catholics and people of all faiths.

Do you know what irony means, if not go look it up.

I'm not the one running around telling everyone what Trump's intentions were when he posted the picture. I'm not the one claiming to know what the intention was of the person who created the image to begin with, if they intended to portray him as a deity, a saint, Christ himself, or any other various options. That would be you.
And Yet You Defend, Trump not doing anything about the picture?

We are all gonna die from Climate Change, and people are worried about an AI photo?

Everything else you said is speculation on your part and a symptom of hating anything with an R after its name.

The picture (posted on Orthodox Easter) is just one thing. If it was just one thing alone, then I could understand your POV. But the reality is, he puts incredibly immature, outrageous, purposely combative and insulting stuff out there ALL the flippin time. If he's not bashing Massie, or MTG, or other America first conservatives who have held him accountable, then he's picking fights with other people. Now it's Megyn Kelley, Alex Jones, the pope, and even Riley Gaines, who has been an extremely staunch Trump supporter.

But it's not just him bashing people in tweets (something we'd expect from a 14 year old troll, not the President of the United States.) He has put other weird God-complex stuff out there in the past. If you need examples, I'll take the time to round them up for you. But it seems to me that some of you either don't notice any of it.... or you do know about it but you turn a blind eye.

So, getting back to this recent picture....It's likely a cumulative thing. I think many Christians who supported him have noticed all the other crap, but finally drew the line at what they consider to be blasphemy.

I have a question for you and please answer honestly. If Biden had posted a picture of himself as Jesus, with supernatural beams of light coming out of his hands, and with a demonic looking figure hovering in the sky behind him.... do you think conservatives would say it's blasphemous, or say "nothing to see here folks." ?
I Agree Buttercup, and your "Reasons" plus many, many more, that I had learned of, after having researched Trump, while he campaigned for the Republican Ticket the first time, absolutely Shocked & Angered me,... So I Refused to Vote for Trump.

And No! I didn't "stoop down" & vote for a Democrat either.

When "Conservatives" freely accept, their "Wannabe Leader" doing that which a Democrat would do, and Zealously Defend that act,....... Then that "Nation that the World once Greatly Feared, & Envied" is rotting away, burning, and soon to collapse.

He took it down when you fruit loop basket cases went into an apoplectic rage about it, what else did you want him to do exactly? And honestly it wouldn't have mattered what he had done, as a supposed Christian, you hate the man, and nothing he would do or not do would satisfy you. You are instructed by your Lord and Savior to love and pray for people, especially leaders, yet all you spew is hate. You are no better than what you claim Trump is. 🤡

So you don't like Trump, never have, never voted for him, but now your 'opinion' on this topic is supposed to matter to those of us who have. Quite amusing. :cuckoo:
