Trump picks Fox News host and Army National Guard veteran Pete Hegseth for defense secretary

Everyone is holding their breath as to who the "Press Secretary" will be.

It may be time for that position to be given to a man. Females on both sides have had it for a long time.
I see Loyalist Jesse Waters at the top of the list......LOLOLLOLLL

Who else you got in mind?

Alina Habba

Habba rose to public prominence during Trump’s civil fraud trial in New York, which drove days of news coverage and sparked near daily press conferences led by Habba defending the former president against prosecutors.

A New York-based attorney who has served as the former president’s top spokesperson for legal matters, Habba was a regular at MAGA rallies and other public events in the weeks leading up to Election Day.

She frequently appears on Fox News and other conservative media outlets to push back on legal investigations Trump has faced and regularly ridicules Democrats and members of the press over coverage of Trump.

I like all those appointments that can't figure out their genders. That's fking important for the american people.

Well, hell you know that being married and having an affair that involved a baby definitely qualifies him in the eyes of a maga.
Let's see the qualifications required?

I beg to differ. It doesn't take much to quickly understand he is a racist, misogynist, prick. Hell, he proudly broadcasts that reality. He carries way too much baggage to be the leader of the world's greatest military. I don't think he can make it through the confirmation process, it would be impossible under a "normal" Senate.

But there is a bigger problem here. And it confirms something many of us have suspected all along. Trump will surround himself with people that will bow down to him, I mean seriously, Trump has no interest in being president. He wants to be King, the Supreme Leader, he has admitted as much himself.

It was quite apparent in his first term. Cabinet member after cabinet member was dismissed for simply voicing their opinion, which happened to contradict Trump's. Hell, the man carries an enemies list in is vest pocket. That is some sickass shit and it is in no way the quality of a leader.
What makes him racist and misogynist? Be specific an d cite comments he made or shut the hell up! i do not take your word for it

provide some receipts to back up your post asshle.

What is his political experience? What organizations has he run?
er...none.
why does that matter? Show us that in the qualifications to be secretary of defense.

Lefties are melting down because he worked for Fox.

SecDef is a civilian position. His job is to implement the President's policy. He's not a policy maker, and the position does not require someone to be a former top-level officer.

Chuck Hagel was a squad leader in Vietnam who went on to a career in business. Ashton Carter had no military experience at all- he was a career bureaucrat. Leon Panetta was a lieutenant for two years, and went on to be a career politician and bureaucrat. There are plenty of former SecDefs who never served in the military at all.

It's not a ******* military post.

Then enlighten me. What qualification does this choice have other than sucking Trump's tiny pecker? What does he bring to the table other than failure?
Plenty of qualifications look em up!

What political experience did Mattis have?

Lloyd Austin's only "political experience" is working for Ratheon.

Ashton Carter was a theoretical physicist.

"My brothers served..."
Jesus Christ. Anyway, this is fun and all. But I wonder what this guy's actual policies are.
.

His main priorities are replacing the Woke Agenda with Unit Readiness, Lethality and Operational Success ...
And getting rid of any currently serving Flag Officers that doesn't understand that ...

Yeah, well, hopefully he's more supportive of peace than Bolton was.

15th post

.

He is the Secretary of Defense ... In Charge of the Military ...
His concerns should be to have the most prepared, deadliest and successful military possible.

If you want the Military to be about Peace ... Or a substitute for Meals on Wheels ...
Then you seriously don't understand the job they are tasked with.

Diplomacy is about Peace ... The Military is what the **** you send when Diplomacy doesn't work ... :auiqs.jpg:
