The United States Department of Justice announced on Monday that acting US Attorney General Todd Blanche (pictured) created "The Anti-Weaponization Fund," which will receive $1.8 billion from the judgment fund to "provide a systematic process to hear and redress claims of others who suffered weaponization and lawfare." The establishment of the fund was part of US President Donald Trump's settlement agreement to drop his $10 billion lawsuit against the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
The fund will be authorized to issue formal apologies and provide financial compensation to claimants, with any remaining funds after the program ends reverting to the federal government. Filing a claim will be voluntary, with no partisan criteria required for eligibility, and the fund will also submit quarterly reports to the attorney general detailing recipients and the type of relief granted. It will also be subject to audits at the attorney general's direction.
The lawsuit you ignorantly claimed didn't exist. Seems you are getting less informed as the day go on.You mean the lawsuit where Trump controls both sides?
How incredibly unselfish of Trump!
Its our tax dollars he just gave himself to play with. How incredibly unselfish of Trump!

He was elected to be the decider. Not approved by anyone but Trump.
That gives him NO legal authority over this.He was elected to be the decider.
Why would it need to be approved?Did Trump’s settlement get approved by the judge?
Awww, Your feelings get hurt simply because I called out your ignorance? The fact that Trump got the outcome he wants from a lawsuit where he controls both sides is just more evidence of corruption. You get less convincing every time you post.
Judges have to approve settlements. Why would it need to be approved
Not in personal civil cases.Judges have to approve settlements.
You said it was just like Keepseagle and that was approved by a judge, ergo this settlement must be approved by a judge. Why would it need to be approved?
Changes nothing, just reinforces the fact that Trump controls this whole thing.Awww, Your feelings get hurt simply because I called out your ignorance?
You said it was just like Keepseagle
Well, I'll expect you to keep an eye on the claims made and awarded and report back to us.Changes nothing, just reinforces the fact that Trump controls this whole thing.
The next problem is that this administration’s definition of weaponization is absolutely crazy. They claimed the government was weaponized against abortion activists because it prosecuted them for breaking the law.
You said this:You're just straight making shit up now. Words matter. You're quickly heading for iggie.
So you’re ignorant of the judicial oversight in Keepseagle. No diffrerence.
Not sure where you are getting this judicial oversight bullshit.
It sounds like the claims and awards will be kept confidential. They mentioned about needing to protect privacy.Well, I'll expect you to keep an eye on the claims made and awarded and report back to us.
