There can't be any agreement that leaves the ayatollahs in control of the Strait or enrichment or offensive weapons, and the blockade has already ended the ayatollahs' oil industry.Iranian spokesman said that the pre-war Strait situation will never be returned and that Iran will control all ships and charge fees.
If Iran does this after any agreement America needs to confiscate any oil coming from Iran and keep it. In effect, ending Iran's industry until a new regime takes over.
Damned if he does, damned if he doesn’tCircumstances would seem to suggest Trump is in a corner. If he does nothing, Iran is perceived to have defeated the USA military. If he continues the war prices will remain high and could damage the reputation of Republicans going into November.
My best WAG.....
He will now have to resort to a ground offensive to remove the Iranian Revolutionary Guard forces enough to stop the resistance and to immediately secure the strait of Hormuz to get oil moving again.

The blockage has ended it temporarily. If they revert back afterwards this will force U.S hand. There can't be any agreement that leaves the ayatollahs in control of the Strait or enrichment or offensive weapons, and the blockade has already ended the ayatollahs' oil industry.
I must laugh at this whole TACO thing as once again, the Left use it to claim the exact opposite from reality! I mean, when has Trump ever chickened out! In contrast to Obumma and his red line in the sand that meant nothing, every time Trump's bluff has been called, he has delivered.
Now just one time Trump stops short of destroying Iran's infrastructure trying to avoid the death and suffering of millions and now he is "chickening out?" From what?
If Trump executed this war like most wars, the infrastructure would have been the first thing to go and then the Left would be accusing him of being a murderous thug and villain committing crimes against humanity.
If I have any complaint at all, it might be that maybe Trump should have commissioned this war last year immediately after taking out Fordrow and the other nuclear facilities.
We have an actual, massive build-up of military forces going on in the Gulf of Oman right now, that does not look like anyone who is chickening out, and Pete Hegseth, he don't look like no poultry to me.
You said you can't bomb your way to victory. I just corrected another one of you thoughtless idiocies. Is Trump dumb enough to use nukes to stop Iran from having nukes?
The war is just 2 months old. Wars typically last years. Look at Ukraine, they have been fighting for four years now. Maybe it just seems to be dragging on because so much was accomplished in the first few days and now we are hunkered down in a waiting game. The problem is that the war is dragging out
We've had high gas prices like this before, just 4 years ago in fact, even higher, and there wasn't even any war then. And the midterms? Well, usually the party in power loses the midterms anyway, not that the GOP have done much to make anyone vote for them.and America's suffering for it with this economy and the midterms at risk.
Well, it comes down to choice: you can hold your nose and stick with Trump who only does about 60% to 80% right things, or we can go back to Kammy, Joe, Obumma, Gavin, Whitmer, Ilhan, Hillary, or any other democrat you can name who only does about -0.00016% things right.Me and all of my friends agree and we all are diehard Trump supporters. At least we were. We still support Trump, just not as much as we used to.
HTF do you know what those idiots read besides the Koran? If The Art of the Deal isn't in it, they wouldn't have a clue.Ayatollah has read Art of the Deal
Something Trump never did

Well, Trump hasn't stopped Iran from getting nukes long term. So, we need to keep at it until that is the case. Meanwhile, if we defeat Iran, we also win against China, Russia, North Korea, Hezbollah, and the Houthi's. And, we are actually uniting pretty much all of the countries in the Middle East against Iran, which makes Israel safer. This is like a pre-emptive World War.Okay so I just read the news. I have mixed feelings about this because on one hand it seems like the Democrats have a reason to mock us with TACO, but on the other hand what can Trump do since now the US has been threatened? You know I'm starting to think that some of you people were right on here. I realize that Trump stopped Iran from getting Nukes, but he's gotten us into more trouble than getting us out of it now.

U.S. beginning effort to guide stranded ships through Strait of Hormuz
President Trump announced the U.S. would "guide" ships not involved in the war with Iran out of the Strait of Hormuz. A U.S.-led task force says it has started the operation.www.cbsnews.com

I don't see where you got that at all. I'm just hoping Trump doesn't cave and settle for a deal because this war against Iran is actually a real game changer if we win. And, we CAN win. It's not just about Iran. It's about a whole lot more than Iran. We have Iran by the balls. We just need to keep on squeezing and we win in so many ways other than just Iran.So in other words, it sounds like you have mixed feelings about it as well?

I didn't like it when Trump promised no new wars. I like the fact that he is blasting drug boats out of the water, went in and got Maduro and bringing more democracy to Venezuela, is taking a hard line with Cuba, and attacked Iran, which should have happened long ago because Iran doesn't negotiate and goes out of their way to create instability in the world.Well it sounded like you had the same concerns that I had of starting a new world war which is something that Trump promised that he wouldn't do. (Not like I've been taking anything he says seriously lately though) This one doesn't count though since it's an ongoing war.

I'm immune to what Trump says. I never gave a damn about what comes out of his mouth. That's more of a lefty thing. I see what the bottom line is and if the bottom line looks good to me then I like Trump. If the left would actually look back at the Biden days, they would see gas was higher, inflation was higher, everything was higher than what it is even now.I like it too but that's not my point. He says one thing and does the next so how are we supposed to believe anything that he says? Moreso about other stuff than this.
