Vivek Murthy completed his residency, is board certified and attended at one of the most prestigious hospitals in the world.
Those are three things that Means can’t claim.
And that’s nothing to say about innovations in medicine he helped create and advocacy organizations he led.

The previous nominee for Surgeon General went to a Caribbean medical school and snuck into one of the least competitive residency programs in the nation.
But at least she was board certified and practiced medicine.

The Surgeon general doesn't have that much power. He/she is a policy maker. What could go wrong when a mentally impaired president gives the power to a power hungry doctor that nobody ever heard of to shut down businesses, enforce fascist regulations, shut down schools, arrest Christians for trying to attend church and kick out members of the military for refusing to take questionable vaccines? No wonder Biden issued a future pardon for Fauci.
