Trump Must Be Removed....NOW!

Probably can't remove him this close...

Someone tell him he has to accept an award for "Bestest person in the World" in New Zealand, "World smartest man" in Japan, "Least Racist Person" in South Africa...
In New Zealand he has to play golf at report to see would he buy it (doesn't have to be for sale)
In Japan they would like to be consultant on a re-building project (not the Nuclear plant)
South Africa only Trump could have "Trump Safarias"
Need to goto Scotland to refuel and Ireland to secure peace in Northern Ireland (say nothing).

Obviously he needs a vacation after that...

That should see you out...

Poor little dumbed down lemmings...your “free” stuff is on the way soon enough. You just have to wait a couple more weeks.
What are you talking about? It's 1935 all over again and soon the protestors, led by Trump, will subdue the entire US government and military and take over the world

Granted, they will do so unarmed, but they will do it nonetheless.

Sedition and insurrection done by the president, specifically yesterday, are enough to disqualify trump immediately. Mike Pence can serve the next 2 two weeks.

Story by Yoni Appelbaum
JANUARY 6, 2021

The president of the united states summoned his supporters to Washington, D.C., today, and then stood in front of the White House and lied to them, insisting that he had won the election and that extraordinary measures were necessary to vindicate his win. They took his message to heart, marching up the National Mall toward Capitol Hill. Breaking through barricades and police lines, Confederate battle flags dotting the crowd, the insurrectionists seized control of the United States Capitol, putting Congress to flight.

Four years ago, Donald Trump swore to faithfully execute the office of president of the United States and, to the best of his ability, to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. He lost little time in breaking that oath. On December 18, 2019, the House of Representatives reluctantly and belatedly performed its constitutional duty, impeaching the president for abusing his power and obstructing Congress. The Senate refused to similarly perform its own constitutional duty, declining to take up the charges in earnest and failing to muster the requisite two-thirds majority for removal. Only a single Republican, Senator Mitt Romney, acknowledged the obvious truth of the charges, voting to remove the president from office.

Trump has today broken his oath in even more spectacular fashion. The seeds sown by Republican obeisance and congressional quiescence have now yielded their bitter harvest. With his incitement of a direct assault on the people’s house, the president has forfeited his claim to finish his term. The House must again impeach him, and the Senate must vote to remove him. And as it does so, it must bar him from ever again serving in public office.

The Atlantic
Since you believe he should be removed immediately, why dont you take your slave ass there and physically try to remove him? Come on coward, shows some balls, even though they are itty bitty things...

That's not good enough.

Trump has committed outrage after outrage, and you keep pretending this is fine.

The Cabinet and Congress need to invoke the 25th Amendment immediately. Even if it is for only 13 days, the guy needs to be stopped from causing any more tragedies.

Actually there is no time limit on the impeachment process. The trial doesn't have to start until well after Trump leaves office. Remember, there are two punishments under impeachment, removal from office, which would be moot, but also a disqualification from any future office.

Which would take a run in 2024 off the table, and Trump off the political scene.

Instead of quelling and condemning the insurrectionists yesterday this dumb, racist bastard of a President opted to blow them kisses, told them how much he loves them and wish them well on their journey.

If anyone ever needed to experience the consequence for treason it's this son-of-a-bitch.
Hangin' is too good for him..

Crazy talk.

It was very impressive, but that was not on Trump, that was Americans taking our country back.

Trump addresses a crowd (mob), tells them a bunch of lies and then points them at the Capital.

They storm the building...

Lets put in a different way...
If a black community leader had a rally after a shooting and pointed at the local police station and said they were totally at fault. They wanted to murder him (lie). They plotted to kill him and they are getting away with it(lie). They are going to kill all of you next (lie).
Then the mob attacks the police station assaulting a police officer and causing major property damage. A member of the mob was shot dead in defence of the police station.
Would you expect that black community leader to be arrested?

which should it be?

this?

Agree

While Impeachment and the 25th Amendment are unlikely (Trump just showed he can shoot someone on 5th Ave and Republicans would still support him), he needs to be placed in a virtual straight jacket and isolated

After the total reversal by the Trump supporting republicans in congress last night, for the first time people on 5th avenue may be safe.

Wow, that analogy just sounded like Portland......Except the police were told to stand down and surrender the building....

Honestly, the GOP have to get rid of their own demons...

Stopping Trump makes him a kind of martyr. Leave him in place. Don't overplay the hand.. There are trials coming which will be highly damaging... Suck the life out of him with endless court dates...

I wish that were true

Many Republicans I saw last night were sincere in their outrage but a majority of House Republicans still voted to continue the Charade.
Ted Cruz continued his subservient support of Trump

I heard it it was a late night last night when it ended around two thirty central standard time.

We have promoted democracy in our movies and books. We speak of democracy in our speeches and lectures. We even sing about democracy, from sea to shining sea, in our national songs. We have entire government bureaus devoted to thinking about how we can help other countries become and remain democratic. We fund institutions that do the same.

And yet by far the most important weapon that the United States of America has ever wielded—in defense of democracy, in defense of political liberty, in defense of universal rights, in defense of the rule of law—was the power of example. In the end, it wasn’t our words, our songs, our diplomacy, or even our money or our military power that mattered. It was rather the things we had achieved: the two and a half centuries of peaceful transitions of power, the slow but massive expansion of the franchise, and the long, seemingly solid traditions of civilized debate.

Over the past four years, that example has been badly damaged. We elected a president who refused to recognize the democratic process. We stood by while some members of Donald Trump’s party cynically colluded with him, helping him break laws and rules designed to restrain him. We indulged his cheerleading “media”—professional liars who pretended to believe the president’s stories, including his invented claims of massive voter fraud. Then came the denouement: an awkward, cack-handed invasion of the Capitol by the president’s supporters, some dressed in strange costumes, others sporting Nazi symbols or waving Confederate flags. They achieved the president’s goal: They brought the official certification of the Electoral College vote to a halt. House and Senate members and Vice President Mike Pence were escorted out of the legislative chambers. Their staff members were told to shelter in place. A woman was shot to death.

There is no way to overstate the significance of this moment, no way to ignore the power of the message that these events send to both the friends and the enemies of democracy, everywhere. The images from Washington that are going out around the world are far more damaging to America’s reputation as a stable democracy than the images of young people protesting the Vietnam War several decades ago, and they are far more disturbing to outsiders than the riots and protests of last summer. Unlike so many other disturbances over the years, the events at the Capitol yesterday did not represent a policy dispute, a disagreement about a foreign war or the behavior of police. They were part of an argument over the validity of democracy itself: A violent mob declared that it should decide who becomes the next president, and Trump encouraged its members. So did his allies in Congress, and so did the far-right propagandists who support him. For a few hours, they prevailed.

America’s friends were horrified. In the immediate aftermath of the storming of the Capitol, the secretary-general of NATO and the British prime minister both condemned what they were watching on television. So did the Danish prime minister, the Swedish foreign minister, the Israeli defense minister, the president of Chile, and a host of other leaders. So close do these countries feel to American democracy that they took the scenes personally, as if they were challenges to their own political systems: “The attacks by fanatical Trump supporters on the Capitol hurt every friend of the USA,” wrote one German politician.

America’s enemies said less but surely enjoyed the images more. Yesterday morning, after all, the Chinese government arrested the leaders of the democracy movement in Hong Kong. In 2020, the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, who did so much to put Donald Trump in the White House, was accused of poisoning his most important political opponent, Alexei Navalny. In recent memory, the Saudi crown prince ordered the gruesome murder of a journalist who was one of his most prominent critics; Iranian, Belarusian, and Venezuelan leaders regularly beat and imprison dissidents in their countries.

After the riot at the Capitol, all of them will feel more confident, more secure in their positions. They use violence to prevent peaceful debate and peaceful transfers of power; now they have observed that the American president does too. Trump has not ordered the murder of his enemies. But now nobody can be sure of what he might do in order to maintain power. Schadenfreude will be the dominant emotion in Moscow, Beijing, Tehran, Caracas, Riyadh, and Minsk. The leaders of those cities—men sitting in well-appointed palaces, surrounded by security guards—will enjoy the scenes from Washington, relishing the sight of the U.S. brought so low.

What Trump and His Mob Taught the World About America - The Atlantic

The wages of trump is death.

Of America.

This morning, our President is isolated and sulking.
Yesterday did not work out like he expected. Some Republicans are turning on him. But sadly, a large number of Republicans came out of hiding and still supported Trumps charade

Trump in his final days as a cornered animal becomes even more dangerous. Imagine if Trump issues a blanket pardon to all the people who took part in the storming of the capitol building on January 6th, and then said he would do the same if they did it again.

They didn't take back anything. Most of them are going to take prison terms.
