Half truth
Hamas offered terms for a ten year truce. One which would allow them to regroup and rearm after their last drubbing.
Terms included such ludicrous conditions as turning over border crossings to Arab nations control, freeing prisoners and ending the arms embargo. LMAO
Yeah, Hamas offered peace LOL for ten years, and then what ????
Sorry but you are not fooling anyone
Nonsense. Hamas can make rockets, peace or not.
The question of the thread is: Can Trump achieve a Middle East Peace?
Will Hamas and the PLO get rid of their charters and come to the table and negotiate for a final Peace Treaty as Egypt and Jordan did?
Yes, or No ?
The answer is no. As long as Israel and the West do not recognize Palestine, what kind of peace should the Palestinians accept?
Why in the world are you so behind in the times?
Israel has accepted a future Palestine. Offered 97% of Judea and Samaria.
You must have missed the part where the Arabs refused the offer.
Israel left Gaza in 2005. Why wouldn't Abbas or Hamas create the State of Palestine out of it? The Hamas charter holds the answer to it. Do you know what it says in it?
What kind of peace should the Palestinians accept?
The kind the defeated side always accepts? What is offered them, with negotiations.
That is what has happened after every war in the world.
Germany and Japan accepted surrender and whatever help the Allies offered so that both could return to what they had been economically.
The Palestinians have had Billions invested on them to build an infrastructure and an Independent State. Somehow that money ends up in building tunnels and buying more and more weapons to attack Israel with.
In other words, neither Hamas, nor the PLO/Fatah will ever throw their charters of destruction of Israel in order to be able to create the State of Palestine.
And let us not forget the Arab League which keeps pushing for the destruction of Israel as well.
No, there shall never, ever be any recognition of any State of Palestine as long as what the Arabs want is to build that State on TOP OF Israel.
