Trump Make Threat, "Vote to Repeal or I Move on and Obamacare Stays..."

Let the bill fail, move on to the tax reform and let Obamacare stay in place where it will collapse under it's own weight around the time of the mid-term elections. BRAVO, Donald!!!!

This will also lead to RINO Ryan's dismissal!!!

It's nice to see that the PARTY before COUNTRY mindset remains alive and well in the United States, after all it's hard to imagine what we'd do if the opposite view ever came to dominate our politics.

On the other hand maybe if the Republicans pulled their heads out of their asses and figured out that by offering to REPLACE Obamacare with yet another idiotic federal government run healthcare scheme they're just proving they are nothing more than a different brand of gub'mint worshiping progressives. You want to fix the healthcare system Republicans? Then get the federal government out of it altogether and let the market do what it does best, stop conceding the argument to the left that government needs to be deeply embedded in healthcare for it to work.

"I'm fed up with party politics, tired of the whole Republicans versus Democrats thing. Because there's no real difference; they're all Mr. Potato-Head candidates. Basically, the operative word is party. Behind closed doors, they just have a good time. What do you think the Secretary of Defense means when he says, "I think there's an open bar somewhere"?" -- Tom Dobbs, Man of the Year
The feds will be out of it once Obamacare collapses.

That would be nice, unfortunately history demonstrates that the opposite is true, to wit; once an idiotic federal "plan" collapses and causes immense suffering, waste of resources and market confusion the morons in Washington inevitably see it as an opportunity to create an even bigger mess with a "fix" for the all the problems that the last "fix" created, thus is the vicious cycle of "cure the cancer with more of the cancer" that Washington loves so much is perpetuated.

It's how we ended up with the whole Obamacare imbroglio in the first place. :(

Why is Ryan considered a RINO? He has all the douchy qualities I've come to expect from Republicans.
He has no spine. He is more in line with Pelosi and Bush and Graham than he is as an America First politician.

Republicans call Obamacare a 'failure.' These 7 charts show they couldn't be more wrong
Another GOP LIE~~ Obama Care is not failing.

Spin and fail, just like "repeal and replace".
He is 3 steps ahead of the RINO's and 10 steps ahead of the Democrat's.
His next step is out the door.
Yup, too bad for RYAN, he wanted to stay on the Hill forever. Donald is letting him twist in the wind!!!
He never cared for him much anyway.

Sure, Trump might get a little bit of the blame for not getting one of his signature promises through, but the fallout on one of his intra-party political rivals will be immense.

It will be a brilliant strategic move, and may help him with the rest of his agenda.

Ryan on Trump's ideas, statements and twitter. . .

“This is not conservatism. What was proposed yesterday is not what this party stands for and, more importantly, it’s not what this country stands for.” ~ Paul Ryan

Sort of the pot calling the kettle black.

Maybe I didn't give Trump a fair shake.

When I heard him say "you are going to be sick of winning" I didn't realize he was talking to Democrats.

unsustainable ObammyCare is winning?

sad really

Was sustainable just fine until this year...just in time for replacement push rhetoric by the Republicans, coincidence I suppose.

My premiums and copays going up substantially is working fine?
Yep....thanks to Senator Rubo [

Sure, you were helping antontoo get completely free health care. What's not fine about that?

Bullshit argument,

1. Co-pays going up is not the same thing as market imploding, especially considering that ACA provides means based subsidies that offset those costs.

2. Premiums and copays would increase with or without Obamacare. In fact they increased at faster rate in the decade before ACA then they did while we had ACA. But if we are to listen to ACA critics it is as if the law invented price increases.

3. Nothing in the framework of ACA prevents further reforms to better address healthcare cost increases.

That is not what I observed in my premiums and copays.

He is "playing" like a businessman who goes into a negotiation knowing exactly what his bottom line is, not like the powder puff politician who came before him who was only interested in the appearance of wins or losss without any regard for value of the deal he was signing.

I worked in half a dozen nonprofits, for a university, and in local government as well as private industry in the two decades prior to ACA.

Every single year one of the topics of discussion in HR planning was how to grapple with the yearly premium increases, and most of those years it was double digits.

Every. Single. Year.

Do you honestly think that insurance industry executives with their 9 figure salaries had nothing to do with the announcements of sudden high jumps in premiums in the election year? If so, I have a bridge you should see . . .
